Pac-10 teams to consider for voting purposes:
#2 USC (2-0) - The Trojans went 1-0 in the latest block, with a convincing 36-3 win over Syracuse. USC defeated Kansas State in week one, 24-21. Should receive consideration in the top three.
#21 Washington (3-0) - The Huskies won their only contest in the latest block of games, defeating Northwestern, 45-28. The Huskies also have wins over Oregon and San Jose State. Washington deserves consideration in the 10-15 range.
#22 Cal (3-0) - Two wins for the Golden Bears in the last week. Cal defeated Texas A&M, 30-3, and Florida International 33-0. Cal also beat Washington State in week two, 30-7. The Golden Bears should receive consideration in the 10-15 range, as well.
Stanford (2-0) - Stanford defeated Oregon State 23-3 in week one and then No. 17 Arizona State, 19-7, in week two. Should receive consideration in the 20-25 range.
Arizona (2-1) - The Wildcats split this past week with a 41-14 win over Northern Illinois and a 26-7 loss to No. 10 LSU. The Wildcats also have a week one win over UL-Lafayette to consider. Arizona deserves a look near the bottom of your top 25 poll this week.
