Possible trade - What you think?

Alright so I am in last place and i think i need to shake my team up.

Team A will be trading:
Ryan Grant
Jay Cutler
Vincent Jackson

for

Peyton Manning
Larry Fitzgerald

Team B has no RBs really, Pierre Thomas, Jamaal Charles, Fred Jackson and Derrick Ward. Team A has Benson and Rice to replace Grant.

Who wins this?

I'm assuming you're team B since a team with Benson and Rice shouldn't be in last place.

Based on that, if you're getting Grant, Cutler, and Jackson, I think you have to look at what their projected weekly output would be as a group of three compared to Fitzgerald, Manning, and whoever you're benching to play Grant.

Net gain, then go for it. Net loss, then you stand pat.

If there is another way to look at it then I don't know.

My guess is you lose points starting Cutler over Manning (rather obvious).

However, at this point in the season it looks like Jackson and Fitz could be a wash as SD is throwing the ball a lot and Jackson is a good, deep target for Rivers.

Then, if you throw in Grant starting over any of the four backs you mentioned, that would be a win.

So you need to evaluate the drop from Manning to Cutler. Based on their schedule of remaining games, this could be closer to a wash than you think (depending on how you look at it).

Thats why i was thinking about accepting the trade... I was thinking about having him replace Jackson with Wayne but i think that i could win more games!

Wr- Sidney Rice
Wr- Lance Moore

man...he's trying to get the Manning/Wayne connection, that would kill. If I were you, I'd try to get Wanye instead of Vjax. I also assuming you have an easy drop? I'm surprised you're hurting with manning at the helm..but after hearing your RB..wow...that sucks.

I dont think he wants to trade Wayne which makes sense lol but he has Jackson or Colston... who would you take and would you drop Jacoby Jones or Derrick Ward?

I'd probably take VJax over Colston (Brees spreads it too much)

I'd probably drop Jones (as a WR3, I don't think he'll ever really start for anyone anyway on a roster)

In your case...I might request Benson or Rice over Grant...don't undervalue manning/fitz.

I doubt he will do that but i dont know!

yea I like Colston because he gets TDs but so does Vjax so i dont know.... i forgot about Benson but do you think he continues to do this well? I have a feeling grant is going to have a good 2nd half of the season!
