Champions League FINAL: 1000PM EST, TWITCH.TV/JASONUK17

Post by jsence2 »

THE FINAL WILL BE AT 10:00 PM TONIGHT, MARCH 13

JUVENTUS V REAL MADRID (UK V DOWNING)

WATCH LIVE ON http://WWW.TWITCH.TV/JASONUK17

Downing: Real Madrid
Shel: FC Bayern Munchen
Jsence: Juventus FC
SuperJakeB: Arsenal
MattDaddy: Chelsea
Krg: Dortmund
Niddler: Milan
Reign: PSG
Kdog: Barceolona
Seeit: man schitty :D

We will do the following settings:

8 min halves, unranked friendlies
Default latest rosters (not the live updates), this may require you to play with "custom" rosters
Normal gameplay speed
Custom formations are allowed, but you must keep them realistic (no more than 3 forwards, 5 midfielders)
No five-defender formations (lends itself to too much cheese)
Mix up your gameplay (we've all played online and have seen the nonstop sprint/cross, lobbed throughs, etc. Just play like NCAA lol--in moderation)
Tactical defending (no legacy)
Shooting/crossing/passing all up to the individual's preference (auto/semi/manual)

-------------------------------

here are the final standings.

Final standings, Group A:

Real Madrid 14 points
Manchester City 13 points
PSG 9 points (ahead on goal diff)
Arsenal 9 points
Dortmund 5 points

Final Standings, Group B:

Juventus 22 points
Chelsea 16 points
Bayern 7 points
Barcelona 4 points
Milan 3 points
----------------------------------------

The Knockout Rounds will be:

Real Madrid 4-2 Bayern Munich
Manchester City v Barcelona
Juventus 3-2 Arsenal
Chelsea 5-4 PSG

The team listed first is the home team. Thus, these two instructions need to be followed:

1) The first match played needs to be an "online friendly" hosted by the second team listed (the away side). The second match needs to be played as an "online friendly" hosted by the first team listed.

The team that scores the most total goals between the two matches advances. If both teams are equal on goals, then the team that scored the most goals away from home will advance.

If away goals are tied, then instruction 2 comes into play:

2) A third game needs to be played, but this needs to be set up by the team listed first, and it needs to be done by going into a LOBBY (not "online friendlies) and meeting. This is the only way to elect to play with extra time or penalties.

The game needs to be set for three minute halves (if this isn't available, do four minute halves), and you need to have the SAME LINEUP you had on the pitch to end the 2nd match.

If this "extra time" match is still tied at the end, skip the "extra time" it offers and go straight to penalties.

I always do it ten times just to make sure that people don't say crap. And I don't always have a good pick, I could honestly care less on this. I have like 6 teams I enjoy....although Shel just took my go-to

I apologize if this was posted somewhere else, but is there particular teams we can choose from?
Please be gentle and remember, I do not know shit about soccer.

Can we choose from any team in the game?

That is your best place to look over teams. Make sure you choose "2014" when you're on a team page to see the default ratings, not the updated ones for Live Season.

And Nick's list is a good starting place, I would add Juventus, Roma, Tottenham, and Atl Madrid, and Monaco to that list.

Much as I want to take United, I'll leave them for Reign (if they last that long) and take Juventus. Pirlo Pirlo Pirlo!

Nick I didn't understand any of his post except I can figure out that PSG was a team.

But I take Milan.
I edited the first post with all the info also and sent a text to Reign.
