NDL Forum

More specifically, where did it come from? I ask because I was joking with a close friend, an original INCAA member, who knew who I was going to Vegas with (everyone else thought you were all my hockey team from Bear Mountain) and he asked what league I was in now.

I recognize a handful of you guys from INCAA, which "started" in May of '04 and, obviously, didn;t commence until July. But, I don;t recall the NDL starting. I think either Wildes or Hoos brought me in for the '06 version. Either way, like I said ....

1) Who was INCAA?
2) Was it just Jeff's brainchild?

Edit: Khary, that fucking idiot, might have been a fool. But that SOB is like a pioneer for this shit. I still hope he has a miserable life, taking advantage of me because he knew I was on house arrest, lol.

I remember the INCAA why did it fold anyway, we coulda had two solid online leagues. It was all Mo pretty much with that one guy chalin or whatever right?

Jeffmo came up with the idea of a 117 team league with 117 different owners (INCAA had many coaches coaching two teams, I know I was one of them). Many people considered his idea insane...but here we are today still going. Khary was a character to say the least.

All I can remeber is Mo. I know I wasn't an inagural memeber. I was lobby cruising and heard about incaa and pcl, through that grapevine I heard about mo and various others trying to get 117 team leagues.. Tried to find out about them with no avail. I got started in leagues on 2004 in a league run by tevita and Allan. In that league they hooked me up with Evan (3x's) and dr Tom. Evans league got me in with carnell who was running a 2team per owner 117 team league. Tom was takig over for rob powers in the pcl and I joined his first season as ospl headman. He got me in with Jeff jut as season 1 ended and I was an inagural farm member but got called up before ever playing a game in it during season 2.


Now I only play in this league after stints in several subpar leagues. Including chunksters... Ah LOD how I don't miss thee at all!

I was in the INCAA for one or two seasons, I don't remember if I had two teams or not but I remember playing as Air Force and Auburn. Crowning acheivement was winning 3-0 over a then undefeated Oregon State team mid season.

Cnasty and I started up in the NNBL, the 1st league we ever joined, I guess right around the same time the NDL was forming.

We both went through a bunch of other leagues, which all sucked that 1 year.

Then, we heard of the NDL. I got in the Farm for maybe 4 or 5 games then got the callup for NDL season 3.

And the rest...is history.

Agreed.

NDL was actually a 50/50 venture with Jeff and MPfsu.

Mpfsu is/was a good guy but it was one of things that came apparent pretty quickly that Jeff was to online leagues what Holmey is to board programming. Just genius's at it.

By the time Season 1 ended Jeff was 100% in control and (cue vh1 behind the scenes music), that actually led to MP leaving the league after Season 2.

FattMatt did alot of the recruiting and grunt work to get us to 120 guys for that 1st and 2nd season, but again Jeffy was the brains behind everything that just started everything clicking.

Once Holmey became more involved with board stuff and Jeff recruited Wes, Mike and myself to help with the behind the scenes stuff it really started evolving to the machine it is today.

Just wanted to give MP his credit for him and Jeff's "idea" but Jeff "started"/"created" the foundation for the NDL as we know it today.

....and I came into iNCAA just as it was about to fold. I think I even played you Trendon. I dunno though.

INCAA for me as well, when I saw it starting to fold I started looking into other leagues on LD and came across this, which included a lot of familiar names

I think I "knew" corey but didnt know you yet. I think I got him straight in and he was telling me you were straight....I was like, I dont know him....lets get him some farm work 1st

So I obviously missed seasons 10-15... what happened to Jeff during those times? what happened to the NDL?
