I am happy as long as Goodell doesn't suspend him. Much cheaper than Marshall would have cost.

The Cleveland Browns have agreed to trade Braylon Edwards to the New York Jets on Wednesday morning, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
The Jets agreed to send key special teams player Jason Trusnik and draft picks to Cleveland, Schefter reported. Terms of the deal were still being finalized early Wednesday.
In Edwards, the Jets obtained a receiver that gives rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez the legitimate deep threat that the Jets have lacked -- and a player facing an NFL investigation for off-the-field trouble.

The league is probing whether Edwards violated the league's conduct policy following accusations he assaulted a friend of NBA star LeBron James outside a Cleveland nightclub on Monday night.
Edwards has been involved in other off-field incidents, a factor commissioner Roger Goodell considers when handing out any discipline.
In March, Edwards was partying with suspended wide receiver Donte' Stallworth in Miami the night Stallworth later drove drunk and killed a pedestrian. Edwards was not with Stallworth at the time of the accident.
Last November, Edwards was fined $150 and given 30 hours of community service after he was found guilty of driving 120 mph.
Edwards, a fifth-year veteran from Michigan, has caught 10 passes for 139 yards this season for the winless Browns. For his career he has 238 catches for 3,697 yards and 28 touchdowns, but faced criticism in Cleveland last season for the number of passes he dropped.

being from cleveland this is humorous. Braylon got to NYC before Lebron did
From the sound of the whole fight thing, im sure the guy who hit was running his mouth out of control, from the description of him he sounds like a little bitch. Apparently braylon said "you wouldnt be anything if lebron wasnt your friend." thats most definatly true. Plus lebron shouldnt have said anything about it. its not his problem.

So even though it looks like the Jets got better, lets not forget the Jets are known for these types of trades (Brett Favre, Mark Sanchez) and they haven’t panned out yet. So excuse me for being very critical of this, I just don’t think it was the right move.
I disagree, Favre was a good trade until his arm went dead. And Sanchez seems to be a grade A move through 4 games, only 1 sub=par performance. And I think suspended players are allowed to practice with team, so Braylon, if suspended, could still learn while being there. And I personally believe that some coaches can make problem players a viable commodity. I think Rex Ryan can do with Edwards similiar to what Bellichek has reenergized Moss in New England.

Just trying to get a little action on his site....which I imagine he is just starting out. Personally, I've checked it a couple of times. Not bad at all. I've looked at it more than once, so it cant be all that bad. It's nice to see NDL guys trying to make a name for themselves...So Nick, what are you doing these days in "real life"?

I'm just fuckin' with you Nick...and yes, I smoke(d) weed...the best buzz you can have. I know what it does, actually i've probably smoked weed longer than you've been alive. Ok, maybe not that long...no idea on how old you are. But yea, I know all to well about it, and personally nothing wrong with it in my book. I'll have to admit, everyone has a crutch...and that is mine!

anyone who smokes cigarettes and hasn't tried weed should give it a shot lol. Just put a teeenie bit in the cigarette and get a lil buzz. it's wicked haha. good thing i dont smoke cigarettes though (odd)

i used to smoke cigarettes...Quit about 4 yrs ago. Now there is nothing better than a big dip of Skoal straight, long cut after dinner.

I always thought he was dropping passes on purpose in cleveland, his catch for a TD just a moment ago proves my thinking too!
