HOLY SHIT! WHAT A HIT BY OUR DE!!!!

it was the knee to the back of the head by his teammate

They never showed us a replay here due to the injury. All I saw was him get caught right under the chin. What happened when he went down? It happened at the other end of the field from me, but dear God, you could hear the hit all over the stadium.

I doubt we'll see him again, with this lead. I'm glad he was able to get up. Glad to see us put a knockout shot on him, but you never want to see a kid get hurt badly.

I just figured it would be the Beast that would put him down, not a freshman DE.

Any word on his injury? I see him sitting on the sideline with lots of people around him, but no word on his injury status.

EDIT: saw him start puking and they brought the Gator out to take him out. Still dunno if it's his flu or the hit though.

I am drunk, but the only reason Tebow got knocked out is because of Gilbert's knee. Jsences, you wish Kentucky could hit that hard. LOL Brantley to Cooper for 6.

Dude, I don't know if you heard it on tv or not, but trust me....that hit was a big part of it too. That thing echoed louder than the crowd's reaction to it.

Is it me, or is this coverage of Tebow's injury, and being carted around the stadium, and being taken away in an ambulance...isn't it reminiscent of like a WWE wrestler that was knocked out in the ring? You get to see him every second, throwing up, passing out, etc.

Man...I've never seen this kind of coverage for an injury before.

Don't get me wrong...he's a stud, I even like him. But they need to leave the dude alone...let him barf in a bag in peace.

And the Gators have a bye next week and then go to LSU. They better hope he recovers from the concussion by then.

Yes he got carted off. Two big reasons he may have puked. 1. flu (which he has) 2. Closed head inuries (whenever your brain swells, theres no place for it to go except through the hole in the bottom of your skull, this will cause a condition known as Cushings Triad) Cushings Triad is the widening of pulse pressures, bradycardia (slow heart rate) .....etc....Its basically the sign that your brain is herniating throught the hole in your skull (this is a very bad sign in a trauma pt that is vomiting) Good news is Tebow is axo (alert and oriented....so we think)

def of Cushings Triad- Identification of the triad is important in emergency medicine because it suggests severe ischemia in the brain. This could be a result of cerebral hemorrhage in the setting of trauma or an enlarging space occupying lesion (e.g. brain tumor) and a possible impending herniation of the brain, which can be rapidly fatal. (cushings triad is something that is hammered home in medic school due to its bad outcome...)

Thats what im saying. I get home and see video of his ambulance pulling away. Like WTF he isn't the only one who's left in an ambulance because of a concussion. Get off his nuts ESPN.

Our offense will be lucky to get 200 yards and 10 points against UF's defense the way we're playing this year.

God, it was deja vu all over again: Just like last year, Florida blitzed us in the first quarter, we settled down after that and played solid on both sides of the ball but it was too little, too late.

Glad to see our defense play hard even being down that much, and that hit was just a monster hit. I've seen very few hits in person that were that loud. Only thing I can think of is this hit from a few years ago by Myron Pryor (who is now a regular player with the Patriots).

That one sounded like a shotgun blast in person; the Tebow hit sounded much worse....and it was even further away than the Pryor hit.

Hey, any publicity is good publicity

Maybe we can knock someone out in the Bama game next week haha.

Word is that Tebow has a very severe concussion with some bleeding on the brain. He will be out a minimum of a month, but could be out for the year depending on the doctor. The injury is pretty bad. I hope he makes it back. I don't care for Meyer or all Tebow all the time, but he's a good kid and a hell of a player. It would be a shame to see his senior season go down the tubes.
