WE ARE NOW IN: SEASON 4, Offseason

Alright guys, I'll post the updates here. The dynasty is set up and the invites are sent out.

Rules:
Level - Heisman (we play this anyway in the NDL...may as well stick with it)

Pace of Play:
2 games per week, advancing on Tuesday/Friday

Head to Head Games:
You need to post here to get a game scheduled. If there is no evidence of it being scheduled, the coach not making the effort will be set to autopilot.

General:
Just as before, this is for fun and it's not my intent to be a dictator. Please post if there are any issues or scheduling conflicts and we can try to work them out.

Off-Season:
We will advance once per day.

as far as the SEC championship game being replayed b/c you lost it in the upload...the fair thing to do IMO would be to set the game to autopilot on Talented's side and let me play the CPU. I beat him the first time and feel like I should get the win again...although now we are playing heisman it might not be a gimme.

That's fine, and Luis I'll send the invite in a minute. I'm going to assign you the team Ran was using...hope that's okay.

I set Talented to autopilot since you won the first time. Go ahead and get it in...I'm still trying to connect with Lytezout.

Okay guys, after much too long of a pause, we will advance tonight. Lytzeout and I are set to play around 6 pm est today (we have horribly opposing schedules) and then I will advance. I still have to sent a couple invites out and will re-invite VT after advancing. We will be back on schedule after this. I will post after I advance. Please accept your invite if you haven't done so already.

Advanced...We are now in Bowl Week 2.

Two Bowl Games...Sixft and Matt90210. You guys have until Sunday morning to complete your games.

LytezOut, I had to sim our game. It's unfortunate we could not hook up, but it was unfair to everyone else to hold them up. It's not desirable, but we really need to get back on our time line.

Everyone but sixft and rtp are active this week. There are two user/user games. We will advance Thursday morning.

Not real happy with us switching to Heisman during a season like this instead of during the offseason. Should have waited on that I think and perhaps voted. It completely changes my offense as any passing mistakes now become ints. I would have even recruited different if I new this change was coming.

Pengy, sorry bud. I threw 4 picks in my bowl game that ultimately cost me the game. It's too late to worry about it now anyway. If I would have heard an initial concern I would have switched it back...it surely wasn't done to screw anybody. Regardless, it's the 1st season for all of use with B- or worse teams...we'll get better.

In that vein, St. Albans blew the Orange Bowl with some questionable playcalling and poor execution down the stretch. They held the lead most of the game, but lost it with under a minute to go. After they got the ball on the kickoff, SA would the promptly throw a pick, as TCU's secondary was everywhere, and benefiting from some poor catching execution. Despite this, SA stopped the Horned Frogs with :35 left in the game, only to have a personal face masked called, effectively ending their chances. The Raiders look to bounce back in the offseason with a strong recruiting class and possibly a new offensive playbook. Rumors are swirling the Coach Terps is courting Gus Malzon away from the Auburn Tigers...it will ultimately come down to money.

Yea the picks really take off in Heisman as opposed to AA. Threw like 6 in my game, and only one was cause I just screwed up, the other 5 came off tip drills with DBs or LBs jumping the play at the last second.

The picks do get a bit crazy, but if nothing else it should make you more precise when you play a user. They also get through the line in no time.

This is true, had been trying to run a balanced offense on AA but on Heisman I really have to focus more on the run to setup the pass and I kinda was not prepared for that.

When do the Cookie Monsters get to gobble up Steamroller & his lady Maruders??

Its been forever since I played NCAA and I can't remember the last time I played one of our dynasty games. I'm ready to get back into the swing of things and make an example out of SteamboatRoller over there

LytezOut, not sure if you saw CNotes post in the other thread, but he can play tonight and then he will be out of town until Monday. Please try to get this game in tonight. Otherwise, he has blessed putting him on autopilot for this game. I will check tomorrow as to whether this is necessary. However, playing a person is probably easier than playing the computer on Heisman IMHO.

We talked via AIM at 1015 last night and we were going to try it an hour from then, but I didn't hear anything by 1130 and went to bed. No big deal, put me on auto and I will return from my trip on Monday night.
