Its gameday...FINALLY!!

The Canes have a brutal start to the season with their schedule with FSU,GTech,VTech and Oklahoma.

This is almost a MUST win for Shannon and his place at Miami. If he starts the season 0-4 that may just insure his head on the chopping block as I dont see the Canes running the table after these first 4.

3 defensive starters out for the Canes at key positions. The secondary is already thin and losing the starting safety really hurts. Thin at DE but stacked up the middle and LB.

I hope the offense clicks with the addition of Mark Whipple at the helm after some great years in the NFL. Jacory wont be looking over his shoulder for Marve getting his turn and vice versa.

For the sheer magnitude of how big this game is for the Canes, I am going confident and say we take it this year, 23-17.

I hope for an awesome game,no rain, no penalties, and no refs determining shit. Another kick being missed will be fine if it means Miami wins.

you guys can all call me crazy, but I can see Miami at 4-0 just as easy as 0-4 especially with the Bradford injury...

Wont say crazy, but cant see it happening.

Sure Bradford is out but so hard to prepare for GT alone.
VT is always tough against Miami.

I am sure hoping so and it would be amazing if it happened, but dont see it happening.

I appreciate your optimism though.

Shannon doing a solid job recruiting but can he develop? We will see. I like FSU in this one. As saturday has shown the ACC is wide open now that William and Mary has take an early one game lead. LOL fuck you HOOS

Yea, Id like for the Canes and Bama to get together one year in the future.

That game was BRUTAL as a Cane fan.

Thats the double edged sword with Shannon. He can recruit the hell out of South Florida where all the talent is, but he cant seem to develop these guys and bring in top notch coordinators.

Maybe this year will be different, but I dont see EVER being a top caliber program with him at the helm.

Maybe he proves me wrong and Id love for him to do so,but dont see it happening.
