Dave last summer I went to a fucking Pirate Wedding, it was awesome. Everyone including the groom and bride were decked out. Prob the best wedding I have ever been too and everyone there was down for a great time.

look on yahoo for an article about a minor league promotion they had somewhere in pennsylvania. they had weddings that night at the field, and the team wore jerseys that looked like the goofy tuxedo shirts. hilarious stuff.

Didn't realize it until now, but it reminds me of the episode of Fresh Prince when Will eloped in Vegas.

I saw this this morning. Pretty good stuff. You’re right that a lot more people need to loosen up. But you also have to remember that for a lot of women, they grow up wanting that traditional dream wedding. My wife and I thought a lot about just going to Vegas and eloping, but for her it was such a big deal to have that white dress and to hear that music play.

this made me think back to my wedding.... to many "rules" in a traditional wedding. Awesome stuff!!
