Yeah, because the BCS, and the NCAA in general has anything to do with who's on the cover.

You think it's just as cheap for EA to pay for the rights to using Utah's logo on the front of the game instead of Florida/Texas/Oklahoma's?

Which of course explains why they used BCS conference players on the other three of the four covers.

pretty sure its a licensing deal that is paid to the NCAA and then doled out to the universities

I dont know how it all works, but if they have the license to use the logos in the game, would that not cover who is on the front? It may be cheaper to use a Utah Player (use HIS image than a top player at a BCS School) but I would think they covered all royalties to schools in the general license

What the hell is EA thinking? How can they possibly pick someone from Utah, how could they pick a Utah player to be on the cover, dont' they know that Utah doesn't play real football?

So what if Utah finished higher then every single team from the Pac-10, Big 12, Big 10, ACC, Big East conferences?

All you people complaining, think about this, if there had been a NCAA basketball game that came out in 1991 that had Larry Johnson on the cover, would you have been complaining about it because he came from UNLV? Both UNLV and Utah are in the same conferences, and the MWC in football this year was better then the Big West ever was in men's basketball, so what's the bitching about?

(I am surprised though that Sanchez was on PSP, I would have switched him and Johnson).

unless I read it wrong only one person "complaining" in this thread....i think the majority could care less

who cares who is on the freaking cover... I would hope they spend as little as possible there and put more money into the game.
