Only two fighters, Chuck Liddell vs. Shogun Rua

Great graphics and presentation...player models are amazing...Bruce Buffer, real life referees and RING GIRLS!
Great commentary as well by Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg.

The gameplay is quite good...some knock out punches seem to miss some..hopefully can be address in final touches...replays are a nice touch and they show the "knockout punch or submission" in slow mo after the fight..then the winner gets his hand raised in the ring..good stuff.

On the beginner level...every big punch seems to be a knock out..so make sure to try the harder levels..much more realistic.

The grapple system is great..simple to understand and hopefully won't take too much time to master, but quite intricate with different moves and such. I think with the large roster of fighters, this game will offer a huge range of option when it comes to grapple moves and submissions.

The punching/elbowing and kicking/kneeing is simple and the reversal system is well executed. There doesn't seem to be as much defense standing up though. Inside the guard work is amazing for a video game...transitions to half guard/mount/side control is easy to control..but not always easy to pull off.

For a demo..I'm going to be playing this a lot. I cannot wait for the final game to come out May 19th...Badass!

I think this game is AWESOME. I love the 2 player mode, I plan on buying this one for sure

I just played demo first time, and I agree. Graphics are superb, gameplay is easy yet intricate at the same time. Very nice.

Supposedy you will be able to take career mode fighters online. I think a NDL UFC league would be SICK, but I'm not sure we could round up enough members

as long as i'm not in Iraq or Afghanistan I'm all for it

ive had a few friends over the last few days specifically to play this game...weve logged a ton of hours already on the demo. It is impossible to put down playing with more than one person.

I'm down for it too.

I've enjoyed kicking Liddell in his f*cking head over and over, I hate that bastard.

Ive started watching UFC and mixed martial arts within the last year. It is addicting to watch. I am excited to try this game out.

i tried the demo.

Too much shit to remember. i did the tutorial, 1 or 2 fights, just too many buttons for me to remember, lol.

Sounds awesome. Count me in for something like that for sure.

I think a career type league would be real cool. Say 12 or so people are in and we are all the same weight class (or maybe users could have multiple fighters in different classes - I just don't see like 50 people signing up) with rankings, weekly fights, main event cards - all that kind of stuff.

I'd be willing to help get any type of league get started as well

I thought it was decent, but it seemed like there are too many moves to master.

Anyway Im down for some sort of league for this.

It reminded me of the PS1 WWE wrestling games where you would need to do way too much to pull off a special move. I've always been a sports/FPS kind of guy anyway.
