Dole, this is a money saving year for the girl and i, as we'll paying for a wedding AND buying a house all around the same month(give or take a month or 2) as NDL Vegas.

No possible way I'm swinging a trip to Vegas to hang with my internet friends with all that goin on, LOL.

Actually this year is the best time to buy a house for a couple of reasons.

1. I've read in more than a few places that the housing market could bottom out and be at its lowest point sometime in the 2nd half of this year. Now, I'm sure it is possible that in today's time, it can get even worse, but this year is a really good year to buy. I've seen multiple houses that sold for almost $300,000 just 2 years ago, now selling for $125,000.

2. First time homebuyers who buy a house in 2009 get an $8000 credit on there tax refund next year, that doesn't have to be repaid.

So, yes, there is a need to buy a house this year, lol.

So since you'll be saving all that money on the house, why would a measly what, $750 (?) set you back enough to miss NDL Vegas?

Meanwhile, I need thousands of dollars for a wedding, and another few thousand for a down payment on a house this year, lol.

We have been throwing around the idea of a Vegas wedding. Maybe we can have the wedding with the NDL in attendance.
