Going to England for two and a half weeks (Thanksgiving through the 11th) and am going to take day trips to Edinburgh and Brussels. Mostly looking for some good restaurant recommendations if anybody's been to either one, or any places I should check out that aren't the more obvious tourist traps.

I think you like soccer, tour some soccer arenas for me.

Tottenham's stadium is brand new and state of the art- also has a skywalk where you can walk on top. Looks pretty cool

This is on my list; I was able to interview Ledley King this summer and met some folks from their front office, so I'm getting some extra tour stuff. Really excited for it.

Also planning to tour Wembley and the Emirates as well.

Kind of bummed that the World Cup is happening this year; this trip was supposed to take place two years ago but Covid.

Do you have a link for the interview?

Look for where most of the tourists are going then go around the corner and find a quiet restaurant instead. Did this in when I was in Europe and was pretty happy every time. Also, don’t go to the restaurants that post their menu outside.

We actually never used it. Spurs' womens team was in town for an international tournament involving Racing Louisville, and I interviewed him for our show on Sunday. By the time we got to Thursday's show, Spurs had lost both of their matches and returned home so we just scrapped it after they asked us to not discuss anything he said about the tournament itself  Was a really nice guy though.

Any particular reason on the last part? Not sure I've ever gone to a place that does anything other than the specials on the outside menu
