I am ok with the 3 week sim to get to preseason but not the 4 week sim. The off-season only takes a week and if we wipe out free agent negotiations then what are we doing here? If you get the favors offer you are in a horrible spot now and that is with two week sims. I just think a week long off-season is not that long and gives us a proper free agency period.

I will wait for others to post, but I did now realize that FAs come back to you at the Preseason sim with the "Let's re-visit talks" so going back to 2 weeks makes sense there.

whats the rush to get into the season? i see making the all star game week a 2 week sim instead of a 4 game sim, but going thru the preseason fast is really going to screw fa offers, and i like to bring some guys up for the 1st 2 weeks of spring training to get them a taste before they hit the 40 man roster.

im not sure why we need to race thru offseason stuff which is probably more important then during the season.

Ok after some input and talking to a few of you I will revert it back to the 2 week sims across the board (or as close as I can get to 2 weeks at a time.)

I updated the offseason schedule. Have a look. Note the 1 week sim for Salary Arb. After that it's 2 weeks all the way until the season starts.

I'm actually surprised we had that much surplus. I knew there'd be some but didn't want to pay into revenue sharing if I could avoid it. I went after several FA's last season too.

Can we do a divisional type, college football payout to share across the divisions for bowl games, titles?

I’d like some of that cash!

Wanna give a quick explanation why we don't sim straight to FA. I've had a few people asking so I wanted to clear it up. The reason is to give people a chance to decline Arb And then try to sign them lower. For example, on my team Juan Burgos was due to make almost $15 million because his base arbitration amount had climbed to $11 million. I have declined arbitration and I'm now going to try to sign him for much cheaper. If we don't have this sim that's not possible and they go straight to free agency.

Well it turns out I am retarded and they just go straight to FA after being declined arb. I swear to god they didn't leave until FA and you got a chance to sign them. From now on we'll just go straight to FA (through Arb) in the first sim. My bad guys lol.

This part of the game is absolutely broken. Burnaby has been hot garbage for nearly 30 years and they have Good fan loyalty.
