We should name the awards after guys that have retired from the NDL
1) Would be cool from a immersion standpoint
2) We can have another poll that decides who are the names, but here are some i've looked at
Hechler and Koch Gold Glove-----------> Sumita Gold Glove
EA Sports Player of the Year------------> Jamie Cruz Player of the Year
Tom Seaver Trophy------------> Tim Campbell Trophy
Rookie of the Year Award------------> Winebrenner Rookie of the Year Award
Reliever of the Year Award------------> Erik Murphy Reliever of the Year
American League Platinum Stick Award Winners------------>Munoz Platinum Stick Award

i dont know how hechler and koch came about from Trendon but its been a part of our league since the start... i'd hate to see that go.
i'd be open to changing the generic stuff like the rookie of the year and reliever of the year type names

Only if we all agree that Robinson Rojas is guaranteed a named award!

Who is this "Erik Murphy" guy?
3rd in career saves. 300 behind first place. Seriously.

It's a German "defense" (guns) manufacturer. Not sure if he was being snarky or if the devs were but it was worth a google and I laughed

I am leery of naming awards after Boston players because of the history (whether you believe it or not). Also I couldn't find Jamie Cruz when I did a player search.

Also Erik Murphy isn't even the saves leader. He's 300 behind Jose Morales.

I went based on most reliever of the year awards that weren't still currently playing-
Erik Murphy has more WAR too- just think hes a better player imo, but I understand the rationale for Morales

If you look at award history on the AL page you will find Jamie Cruz,
Looks like he was the first AL MVP and 5 time MVP winner, but there might be better guys
