Commissioner Transition Complete

Good day gentlemen. This afternoon Billy and I completed the transition of the commissioner role into my control. I'm sure most of you knew already but I wanted to make a post to make it official. Starting tomorrow (Oct 8, 2021) I will be running the league with full control.
First, I want to thank Billy for commishing for 4 years. That is actually insane dedication and without him there probably wouldn't be an NDL so kudos and congrats on your retirement.
I have run the Moose Jaw Diamond Dogs franchise since midway through the 2043 season. You can find me at Ryan- MJ Diamond Dogs on Slack and yes it took me 32 seasons to win a championship thanks for asking.
I will probably never ever make an error ever as new commish and definitely not on the first task I was chose to do *cough* draft lotto *cough*. Or I will mess up and you guys can grill me. I am always ears open to criticism and ideas.
I do have commish experience in the past, in fact I actually commished a league before joining NDL where I didn't even have a team - I just like running things and keeping things organized. I've also helped another league as a backup/offday simmer so I should be fine in terms of functionally running the league. That being said there might be some roadbumps out the gate but we will get them sorted.
I wanted to set some expectations for you guys and myself going forward.
1 - Sim Times - These will occur usually between 8 and 9am on weekdays (possibly a bit later on weekends). I am currently in MST but my province doesn't change clocks like the rest of you heathens so from mid-Nov to mid-Mar I am actually under CST. I will let you guys know when that occurs.
2 - Forums and Slack - The way we are doing things now is fine for now. Nothing changing at all. I've actually come off the fence a fair bit on being a Slack only league as losing message history is a big bummer IMO. Maybe we should discuss Discord.....just kidding....maybe.
3 - Exports - Personally, I would love if it you guys export even if you have no changes. It takes 10 seconds and helps me keep an eye on who's active etc. My rough plan is if I don't see an export from you for 2-3 sims in a row I'll probably hit you up on Slack. If you go an entire week (7) in a row without responding on Slack we will start looking for a replacement - obviously some extenuating circumstances could arise and I'm not going to boot an OG without contacting them first. If you do plan on missing exports just let me know and then you can ignore all above - I can even tend to your team if you prefer. Just let me know.
My current shortlist is:
1 - Take shit from you guys for fucking up the draft lotto
2 - Get some cool looking League Logos
3 - Starting to make a Winter Meetings list....not sure what to put on there first
If you guys have any suggestions or have any changes you wanted to make to your teams (jerseys etc) please let me know. I know when I play in an online league I want my team to be a specific way and it bothers me if it isn't so if you have any little nitpick (like maybe an extra space being in your AAA team name for 30 years) just let me know. I want your team to feel like yours in every way.
