Been playing this for years. Diamond Dynasty is a money grab but i injoy the online play. They are back this year with online league mode. For regular teams and Diamond Dynasty. They also are having tournaments each month. Any one grabing this?

Used to be an annual buy.

Haven’t gotten it in 5 years+.

Hell I don’t even own a PS4 anymore.

I’ll get it and stop playing it 2 weeks later like every other version. Baseball games are just too fucking long.

I picked up '19 when PS+ was offering it free near the end of the regular season. It's fun but not enough to pay for it

I used to get it every year hoping the offline career (GM not the silly player one) mode would be improved but it never did... Gave up about two versions ago now

16 was great... 17 and 18 aweful. 19 was a bounce back year. Hoping 20 they got it right. I think 16 I was 580 and 313 haha I played the shit out of it.

Online play is where they have gone but last year GM mode was great.

the fun thing to me is Diamond Dynasty but i burn through it so quick that the interest fades. Fifa will always be king with their 6 min halves and 12 min games.. not this 45 mins of people pitching outside the box thats already glitchy enough to hit

We did a kind of tournament setup the one year and it was really great. I remember Riccio being a beast with the Mets and Johan Santana. A year or two after that, the online mode was buggy with the worst servers I've ever experienced. It would be fun to do something small again though for sure

We will see what they say on Thursday about custom leagues. It’s saying just for friends maybe that’s the way the can cut it down from being laggy. Diamond Dynasty online play the servers were great. Out of 100 games maybe you would get 2 or 3 that were laggy. If it was laggy it you could ask for a friendly quit. Most people take it but there is one or two that won’t haha.

THIS!! Even the 3 inning games turn into 15-20 minutes and that's on easy. I am a grinder and it was even too much for me, especially to get the good cards. But at my peak I was burning through $100-$150 a week easily on Diamond Dynasty, all the other game modes were just ehh!

I can't imagine investing more than the actual game is worth in game purchases

I was an addict!! I loved opening packs and I wanted the best players in the game to give myself the best chance. Terrible decisions, that's why I just stay away now!

Billy Hamilton and Luis Aparicio. Slap and run. Packs are fun to open for sure.
