Should we enforce age limits on minor league levels?

My thinking is that winning/losing both helps and hurts the development of guys. I could be wrong, just a theory i have always had

ie - i don't think we should have 26 and 27 year olds in AA. They are fully developed and pump up the record of the team and they crush 99% of 22 year olds.

Its early in the morning and maybe I am not fully explaining it

Just throwing this out there, although it might be WAY too much work to enforce

Not wrong and also read having top prospects on shitty teams also stunts growth as well.

Would be tough to manage though from Billy’s perspective but many random audits here and there.

I think cleaning up the minor leagues to the limits is the 1st step. imagine having to sort thru rhode island 138 man AAA team.

Does age really matter? If a guy is a 20/20 scrub it wouldn't matter if he was in AAA or A ball. Dude sucks either way. Maybe limit overall ratings, but you couldn't do that either as all of our scouts see everyone so differently.

Cant limit ratings because per neurotic, it is better to have a team full of 20/20 players then to have ghost players.

Older dudes dominating our lower levels stunts prospect growth as our ratings/potentials are tied to ability/statistics.

If we consistently have our minors with dudes at 25-27 in short a or single a pummeling prospects you see gradual stunting of prospect growth.

But then scouting is still broken so who cares and it may not matter anyways

i never pay too much attention to who is in my minors except for the higher level prospects.

But noticed i had a 26 year old in A or AA ball Trust me, he is helping your guys growth.
