Re: The Pressure Is On, LLC
So that same guy that sent me that email referred me to a company that is putting in a new lot for their fleets and employee parking. It's 100k square feet divided into two lots. They called me and asked me to clean up any dirt/mud where they will be striping the parking spots. Went out there to do a test spot after I got done cleaning their trailers and it seems to be a pretty easy job, just time consuming. Put in a quote for $1700 on one lot and they want the quote for the other lot as well. Should be a nice $3500 payday for a day or two worth of work. They also want me to quote cleaning the curbs, which most people get $1 per linear foot of curbing. May just charge them $0.25 - $0.50 per linear since I'll be right there anyways.

Re: The Pressure Is On, LLC
Been asked by my soap supplier to become a distributor here in the Nebraska/Iowa/Kansas/NW Missouri/SE South Dakota area. I gotta form another LLC and am trying to come up with a name. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Was gonna go with my old callsign in the army but not sure if Rogue 7 Distribution would be good due to Rogue having a negative connotation

Bama buys the powdered soaps and drops it on purpose. I asked him why and he said it takes longer to pick up and a better chance for Jethro to come up from behindsixpackdan101 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 4:15 pmYou could use your other call sign: “soap-dropper”GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 4:02 pmDefinitely 3-FroBFiVL wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 3:06 pm3 Fro or 4 TagGeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 1:19 pm Been asked by my soap supplier to become a distributor here in the Nebraska/Iowa/Kansas/NW Missouri/SE South Dakota area. Re: The Pressure Is On, LLC
These price increases are killing us in the fleet washing industry. With fuel going up trucking companies are starting to cut wash cycles, and washes all together, in some areas. Glad it hasn't happened here as fuel prices are some of the cheapest in the US. September we were hit with a 30% increase in chemical costs. I ate the cost until December 31st and raised prices in the new year. Then we got hit up again last week of February to say prices were increasing again on the 1st. Prices increased this time 40%-60% on the soaps I use. And now we just got an email again saying prices are increasing, my guess it'll be another 30% but we don't know yet.
The soap distributor says to just raise prices by $.50 to a buck to cover costs, but we can't do that 3 or 4 times in a 12 month span. These companies will just roll around with dirty trucks. Tough business to be in right now as an owner. Glad I have my military retirement and disability to cover all bills.

Re: The Pressure Is On, LLC
Just got a call to clean 3 of these bad boys for the Air Force, they are Oshkosh Runway Brooms. I'll actually get to see them tomorrow to see how big they actually are in person
Re: The Pressure Is On, LLC
Nice. Get a contract with the Air Force and that should boost anyones finances.
