Beef Rebranded (again, sorta)

Beef are moving to Lincoln, NE. Tried to do it last year but it didn't happen and Billy explained why. We will be called the Lincoln Beef

Stadium will be in Lincoln, NE and the new name of the stadium is:
Bob Gibson Stadium

Relocation:
NDL teams are allowed to relocate every 5 seasons.

Team Interest will be set to 100.
Team Loyalty will be set to 20.
Market Size will be set to Average.

There are no fees for relocating, as long as, besides the name, you make no changes to your stadium.

I did not want him to change from Omaha Beef to Nebraska Beef. I do not want guys to start to struggle and me for instance say I am no longer the Richmond Greeks I am now the Virginia Greeks so I can get fan interest to 100 and not really change. I just said lets change the actual city to prevent that from becoming a thing.

But with 37 fan interest I had to do something. I always said I'd never leave Omaha but had to do something where I can get ticket prices up over $10

As long as they are following the rules and only relocating after 5 seasons, who cares what the name is?

There is a rule change, edit the rule to state that there has to be an actual relocation and that you cannot just change names to bump up your fan interest, etc.

If you are actually relocating, ok, but don't use it as a crutch.

With team loyalty set to 20, if this works correctly, a relocated team should be on a really short leash to succeed before that team interest crashes really hard.


I've never messed with any of that, but if that doesn't happen soon without team improvements, we need to consider scrapping that relocation idea with those preset fan ratings.

I was suggesting we change it to maybe 10-15 seasons instead of 5.

Like shel said they may crash but within 5 years you can just relocate again exposing the loophole.
