I know it is a little ways off, but my wife and I are planning a trip out West for our 10 year anniversary next October.
I have a buddy that lives out in Seattle that we are staying with for a couple/few days and then we will see from there if we want to travel elsewhere around that area or get a hotel or what.

Any suggestions on things that are a must do in Seattle or the surrounding areas?

A trip to Leavenworth for Oktober Fest. Get a nights stay, book early!

Pike Place Market and watch them throw fish. Get in line to catch them!
Din Tai Fung in Seattle or Bellevue for dumplings. Closest to Joes Shanghai I’ve found.
Have to go to the Piers and ride the Big Wheel.
Take a Ferry ride
Visit the EMP (Experience Music Project), Paul Allen’s personal music museum.
Take a trip to Mt Rainier and hike the mountain. You can still get to the lodge in October.

I’ll have more things for you when the time gets closer

I knew it would. Literally the best food I’ve ever had. But Din Tai Fung is very close.

This is why I ask early.
You never know what is there and what kind of notice you need.

For Polar Express, at least around here, it is already booking for next year, so if there is something you guys say, hey, you can't miss this, but you have to book now, figured it didn't hurt to ask.
