My one kid is on a 2 week hiatus from all video games.

So they've started playing on the headsets with a couple of kids from school. One I don't really know that well. So all Sunday morning, Xander kept proudly telling me about his "masterpiece" he built in creative, which was funny because I've never heard him use the word "masterpiece" then he says it that morning about 10 times. Fast forward to later in the day and they're playing with the one kid from school, and they go to his creative world or whatever it's called. The kid is no longer on the mic and for reasons I'm not sure of, the kid proceeds to completely destroy every last bit of Xander's masterpiece lol.

So he's getting visibly upset and telling the kid on the headset to stop but the kid is no longer replying. So then he throws the XBox controller, and I very calmly just said, "that's 1 week of no video games." So he immediately starts crying and storms upstairs. The best part, as he's going I told him he better not slam the door to his bedroom, I said that because he did that once before in a similar situation. So he gets up there and I hear a loud bang, and ask him what it was, he tells me he kicked the door. I very calmly say, "That's 2 weeks of no video games." And he says, "But you only said not to slam the door."

That’s hilarious. Did you counter with a story about a VCR eating one of your scouting NCAA vids and getting angry? Lol

I wonder how much Sony made just off of controllers from NDLers during the NCAA days.

Zero controllers. Did break one of wired headset by accident by jumping up after a bullshit play ( probably Big Mike) and stepped on cord ripping it from earpiece.

Hot off the presses today about how old to play Fortnite
Just read it, the addiction aspect does seem very real.

My kids have been playing video games for a couple of years. They have their favorites(Roblox and Minecraft) but they change it up playing all kinds of free games I've downloaded. But since I got Fortnite a couple of months ago, they've mostly stopped playing all the other games, and it's 90% Fortnite now.

I'm happy they got the Season 8 Battle Pass for free, so I don't have a care in the world how much or little they do on it due to their new restrictions on how often they can play.

Other parents are sometimes the most annoying thing about having kids.

i was 3 yrs old playing Mario. I was 13 yrs old running sim baseball leagues with adults in it. I think parents over think some situations and forget that for the most part their kids are not stupid

Really front loaded the battle pass this season. Worst tier 100 skin yet but all the other skins are really good. Especially the banana. Emotes are solid ( hula hoop and conga)

Vaulted a ton of garbage ( snowmen, shopping carts, golf carts and a few other things)

Map changes. Gone tomato temple, lazy links and wailing woods. Moved block where motel was. New places plus return of risky reels.

Gave us 2 new reactive skin changes to fish stick and ragnarock.

Cannon balls. 100 damage for direct hit.

Fun stuff

Season 9 starts today

Vaulted a ton of stuff. Pump shottys and silenced ARs being two biggest.

Future based. Some good dances and decent emotes. Horrible tier 100 skin.

Still having fun.

Same here and it is crazy to think it is still enjoyable. Even some of the best COD's we all got ready for the next one to come out due to it getting a little stale.

Can someone let me know exactly when, date and time, the Fortnite season ends? I think it's tomorrow but don't know what time.

My kid is in a race against time to get to a certain tier before it shuts down, this is important stuff!!!

I'm not a fan of warzone either. Although the last time I played it me, Bama and AJ won....probably my 3rd warzone match ever played and was carried they the whole way. But I was the good luck charm
