Best you never had

So figure a good immersion topic. What is a player that you wished to have but were never able to get. Not someone you traded away and missed but just saw on another team and wanted on yours.
Mine would def. have to be Byron Dennis. Solid stats and it always infuriated me that he never played 3B. His defensive ratings were like 45 range and then 100 everything else and he was only ever played at 1B when he probably would have made an elite 3B. 3B has always been an issue for my teams and would have loved to have him.

Graham Ware
I tried to get him about 3 or 4 times between Reign and Seeit back in the day.
Has always been one of my favorite players in the league due to his make up.
Jason Sharp a close second.

I tried hard for Lane also, finally got him, then traded him the next day I think

Ace Cooley
Traded him to Philly 5 months after drafting him and been trying to get him back ever since (8 years strong now).

Castaneda. I drafted him twice and couldn't sign him either time. Asshole.

probably Austin Anderson. obviously he's a superstar and everyone would want a star, but i just liked the way he carried himself on the field, even while playing for such a deplorable franchise.

Best... Matthew "Spawn" Lewis... Coug just wouldn't let him go. Even tried after he got his big pay day. Probably dodged a bullet there.
But nothing like my Worst I never had!
PO OF Miguel Rodriguez!
Holy shit! I offered the damn farm for this kid and a pitcher (I think it was Vulture Harris or someone during that early little PO resurgence). I had the kid projected like the next Hercules Hernandez. I'm pretty sure I actually offered Esparza and Hernandez for this kid a 2 60 something SPs. No go!
Rodriguez managed to peak with a monster 3 year stretch of 12, 14 and 16 HR. He managed just 1938 at bats. He last played in 2041, when he was demoted at age 27.
