My wife, my son, and I will be in Dallas the weekend after next for the next stop in the NYBL league. His games will be in Mansfield. We've been looking for things to do in the evening or between games and can't find much other than visiting the set of "Dallas" or the JFK Assassination site. Basically it looks like Dallas sucks. Any recommendations from the NDL Texans?

Unlike some NDLers, I will not be trying on authentic Texas cowboy clothing and posting pictures. If I tried that stuff on I'd be mistaken for Woody from Toy Story.

Breweries, yes your son can go as most have live music.
Perot Museum
Tour the Cowboy stadium, highly recommended
Klyde Warren Park
Dallas Aquarium
2 Zoos, Fort Worth is better than Dallas
Stockyards in Fort Worth
Dallas Arboretum
