2036 Hall of Fame Voting Results

28 votes cast for a total of 177 players , way down from last year's record of 214.
Breakdown..
And the verdict....
No one gets inducted this year for the first time since 2027 ballot (8 straight years)
The results...
Yellow Header= INDUCTED
Green Header= Stay on Ballot
Red Header= Time Expired, Off Ballot
Blue Header= Not Enough Votes, Off Ballot
My thoughts..
I owe Steve Bryan a gift basket. He was in if I closed the ballot when originally planned. That said, I could just regift Paco Lopez's gift basket to me because he was out.
We have 5 guys that will be going on their 9th ballot next vote, clogging up the ballot and stealing each other's votes.
Not much surprising, league seems split on the whole Thomas and Wu issue.
Jim Cole's lack of support is starting to be more puzzling than Pablo Lopez's IMO
Doing this for 16 ballots now, you notice some trends. New England almost always one of first three to vote, South Park always last three, but first time I noticed someone copy & paste another person's ballot. I always wondered why Beefy doesn't just do that and save some grief. Also noticed someone's system, just vote whoever has 100 or more on Monitor score.
Relievers had a strong showing this ballot.
Most newbies went one and done as expected, it wasn't a strong class except for McMinn and Brady. McMinn I thought would get more votes and Murray I thought would at least make it to 2 or 3 ballots. Still no catcher in our HOF.
Next ballot should have 2 sure-fire 1st ballot inductees, it will be interesting to see who falls by wayside or if anyone joins them.
Thanks for voting.
Our Hall of Fame remains...

Thanks again Bernie for doing this. Don't understand how Cole and Lopez are not in. I'm thinking Cole never had elite stats for a 3-5 year span, more of a guy that always put up consistent numbers for his career.

if Wu and Thomas don't get in i'm going to start my own hall of fame.
if we didn't kick them out of the league and we allowed them to play in games the entire time then we should let them in the hall of fame. its not as if we just found out at the end that something fishy was going on with them.

i still love that people think something fishy went on with them. I had Wu as a 20 pot prospect. I released him, he somehow blew up that offseason. 1st time Shel got him, we did a restart and then someone got him the 2nd FA sim.
Why do people think he was edited? Players blow up all the time. I drafted Mark Jenkins in the 6th round. How many 80 potential dudes are left in the 6th round? 0. He got better.
Kevin Thomas, who knows. He declined just like the others. Moreno is killing it as a 38 yr old, guess hes a glitch too

Tough crowd.
Wu and Thomas are 2 of the best hitters and pitchers we've ever seen. Cole seems like a shoe in as well, as a few have already said.

a closer named Morgan is better than Kevin Thomas. Let that sink in for a minute.

Just saw Eduardo Moran is likely to retire and be done. 200 wins, 62.2 WAR 133 ERA+. Holds the NDL record for lowest BB/9 in a season and has 6 of the top 10 in that category; as well as the lowest career BB/9. Every other retired pitcher with 200 wins is in the HOF. Prob the last player who was a Crab who has HOF potential for a very long time.

I thought the same thing, but I thought it was leaning toward Bear, whoever took over after bear pointed out some red flags with WU.

Trendon admitted to messing with "Cyborg" Thomas, as a part of an experiment.
Wu was the product of history editing with Bear I believe.

Yep and then bear tried to just delete him and all hell broke loose.

that's why some of these bums should not even be on a HOF list. anyone who votes for them just condones this type of bs! Trendon should of deleted CYBORG Kevin Thomas after his so called "experiment". but he didn't. now we should honor CYBORG with his questionable history? i say not!

we discussed deleting cyborg, i offered to retire him from my team multiple times... every time the same answer was given 'no, he's part of the league, don't do that'
