Are you sure that will fly? I thought if you tried to return, they would only give you say $40 for what you returned.jsence2 wrote:Downing11 wrote:Too bad it is a week before the new Star Wars game. Buy the games
Keep the receipt
Return an unopened game for SW game when it releases
I think this happens. The receipt ends up showing 1/3 of the value of the cheapest game removed from the price of each of the three games. So the cheapest game is essentially free, but the return value of all the games is reduced.Downing11 wrote:Are you sure that will fly? You could be dishonest and try to do a return/exchange at another store (I've heard of people doing this at Walmart) that will take products they stock without a receipt but only for exchange. I've never done it and don't personally condone it, but...
Anyway, I've fallen for these buy-2-get-1 before. Three games is too many for me to buy at once. By the time I got around to playing the second and third game I could have got them for $30 or less anyway, so I saved nothing.

Ok, so you get Battlefront for $20 instead of free or paying $60.
