I"m picking my copy up Tuesday afternoon. Who else is getting it? Anybody up for some club play Tuesday night?

I'll certainly have it. Just trying to determine which preorder option that I want. Gamestop has a pretty cool bundle for FUT players that has the $69.99 copy of the game plus 3k FIFA points, for $89.99. The FIFA points are $30 to purchase separately.

Getting mine Monday night at midnight release, getting the Deluxe edition (the 69.99 one).

Will get it this week, finally caving and getting a PS4 finally. Cant wait for club play. I played a lot of FUT last year, not sure Ill do the same this go round

Probably pick it up Tuesday at some point. I preordered the Deluxe copy. Likely won't get to play much if at all before I leave for Korea, but I'll have it nonetheless

1) Game isn't as clean as the beta was in terms of gameplay, but it's still phenomenally better than the past in terms of realism.

2) You won't be able to do skill moves at a sprint. You just won't. Accept it, and move on. Everyone complaining "oh you can't dribble anymore" or "oh, so and so chased down Messi". If you want to run fast with the ball, then just like IRL you have to run fast WITHOUT the ball by knocking it far ahead of you (and risk losing it out of bounds or losing it to a defender) in order to sprint onto the ball. That said, guys like Messi and Hazard and Memphis are nasty if you get in a one v one

3) If you got or bought FUT points....DO NOT BUY PACKS!!!! I cannot stress this enough. A premium gold pack is 150 points. A jumbo gold is usually 300. Instead, use the points and play the FUT Draft mode. Play the single player. It costs 300 points to enter (you get the first one free, like a dealer) and if you win the four matches, you will get a Jumbo Premium pack and two gold premium packs, worth about 3-4 times what you spent to enter the tournament. Even if you lose first round, the packs you get will be equal to the 300 points you spent to enter the tournament.

4) Be A Pro, your visual stuff will carry over. So if you still have FIFA 15 and want dreds, afro, etc, then load the game, edit your guy, save, and then put in FIFA 16 for the first time.

5) Those of you who played Seasons Online, if you were in Division 1-3, you will start in Division 8 this season.

6) Finally, those who are going to play FUT....sell everything. Sell every player. Sell every kit. Sell every badge. I got 2000 coins for a Boca Juniors badge that will go for 400 in two weeks. I got 35,000 for a Willian who will go for 10,000 in a few weeks. Set your auctions at minimum 3 hours, and check the market, see what's there, undercut the lowest BIN by a slight amount. Someone will get impatient and buy your cards. England gets the game in a few days, market should level out a bit at that point. Get in now and get your money. Also, WARNING: If you don't sell something and relist it, be VERY CAREFUL as it will not put the same numbers back in. I got screwed last night, went to resell a card that I had set at 5k BIN, and it reset it to minimum BIN of 700 and it was instantly bought.

Picked up my pre order at lunch, put it in to get the downloads going, and then played NHL with the rest of my lunch. Going to do a collection on NHL after work, then might throw fifa in for a bit.

I'm going to be grossly behind by the time I get back from Korea, so I likely won't put too much effort into it this week since I'll be behind anyway

I've been watching a few streamers during early access and it really does seem like cardweights have been dropped and it's REALLY tough to come by good players in the packs. I'm going to go all in on draft mode early on and just enjoy it. I'll build my FUT teams later, once prices come down. No investing at this point.

I've never had any pack luck so the last few years I've just built an MLS silver team with a few Gold USA players that I liked built in. Way more fun that way, and you avoid a lot of the cheesy fucks

I figured it would be here today via mail. But not yet!

I played a little online pro with some randoms, which is always interesting. The cpu players seem to be slightly smarter this year. I scored a goal and had some nice passes. It's still fun.

I made you an admin, Peay, so you can accept join requests from the other NDLers. We have a few randoms in our club as well, good guys that I've played with before.

We started on a tear last night but lost the last few (ran into a few teams with boosters--already have 95 pace and blue afros, etc) and lost some tough ones. Still have a shot to make it from Div 9 to Div 8 though

Correct, all online access requires PS Plus on PS4. It's $49.99 a year.

Myself or Peay can grant you access. I can't do it from my computer, but Peay should be able to through the website if it's not blocked for him.
