'36 Draft - DONE!!!

Post by GeorgesGoons »

Send draft lists to Niddler and George. I can help out during the day as well

OFFICIAL DRAFT START: Thursday September 3, 2015

**You may begin selecting at any time**

DRAFT HOURS: 9am - 9pm (Eastern)
DRAFT PICK TIME LIMITS:
RND 1 - 3 Hrs
RND 2 - 1 Hr
RND 3 - 1 Hr

***Weekend draft picks will have a 4 hour time limit.***

MISSED TIME LIMIT:
There is no more BPA. It is your responsibility to submit a list to me via PM. If you fail to submit a list to me and you do NOT make your time slot, then your pick is skipped and the next team is on the clock. You may jump in at any point and make your selection if you missed your window. If you fail to make your pick by the end of the message board draft (Rnd 3), then I will give you the BPA of the players that are left.

*****************************************************************************************************************************************

The fake/comp draft picks from last season are marked in italics and 20/20.

my 2nd round 6th pick should not have a highlight, it is not a comp pick. Should be the 2nd pick I guess, as last season I had the #1 overall

Round 3 of the draft is reverse standing from the previous year. 30 picks, 3 comp picks that need to be 20/20 (South Park, Boston and Detroit)
Round 2 of the draft is also reverse standings of the previous year minus Seattle (who signed 2 comp players forfeiting his 1st and 2nd). 29 picks, 3 comp picks that need to be 20/20 (South Park, San Antonio, Hilsboro, Alabama)
Suplemental round is 4 picks, order is set, Omaha is 20/20

Round 1 is reverse standings of the previous year minus Seattle, Miami, South Park. 27 picks, 2 comp picks (both Indy) need to be 20/20

1. Omaha
2. San Antonio 20/20
3. Hillsboro
4. Alabama 20/20
5. Hillsboro 20/20
6. San Antonio
7. Orange County
8. Indianapolis
9. Texas
10. Toronto
11. Dade County
12. Steel City
13. Alabama

Missing Alabama due to two comp picks from Seattle threw me off. Then the tie in standings between Hilsboro and San Antonio didn't help.

This is the updated first 13 picks of Round 2. We should be good now.

I don't know how this will work, but if I don't sign my pick, I should be getting the 4th pick next year and not the 6th.. correct? This could be messed up for quite some time

Yes. Indy will sign both those guys. Basically once he signs all his guys he can offer slot to both his 20/20

This is the slowest start to a draft ever!

I know Bernie and Beefy doesn't come onto the boards all that much. If someone can text them to let them know that we are officially starting the draft tomorrow but they can make picks today we can try to get the first 4 picks done before it starts.

Didn't realize Bernie picked. I know Beefy doesn't pick till later but he doesn't post on the boards much, not sure how often he comes on. Just don't want him having to make a hasty pick because his pick sneaked up on him.

Why are we worried about Beefy?

If I am reading the draft picks right, there are 4 picks before he is up.
I will text him once Toronto is on the clock.

10. Dade County

And for the record, I cannot wait till we start using the draft utility again, cause all of this goes away.

We set it up, let everyone know when it is starting and then it goes, without any intervention from anyone.
Will be a beautiful thing.
