My son will be 8 at the end of the month and my daughter is 5 1/2. They LOVE it. Would play it all day everyday if they could. We have it for the PS4.

Anything specific you need/want to know about it?

My buddy has two kids and I came over one day and played with him and his two sons for eight hours. It is super cool but can obviously like anything Disnye, get real expensive real quick.

I know there's another version coming out in the fall. Will the figures and game pad thing that I'm about to get work for it?

Not sure about that. Kids used to do Skylanders. Each time they came out with a new game you had to buy a new platform, but the old characters still worked on the new platform. I believe we just bought the 2nd generation of the game (2.0) but do not recall if there was a different platform or not. Knowing that gaming is a money maker, I would assume you would probably have to purchase the new platform.

My daughter has it. I bought it for her for Christmas with a bunch of figures. Never plays it.

My niece and nephew play the hell out of it.

i think i still agree with the actual gameplay stuff. the superhero thing they came out with for the infinity 2 was ok BUT...i was thrilled when the kids grew out of it just because eff disney man. those little figurines are pure money makers. it's basically "unlocking" characters" but making you spend $30 or so everytime the kids want 1 or 2 new characters to play with

on principle alone i hate it

that being said, its very popular when the kids have friends over
