Okay, so I'm going to try and keep up play on FIFA14 on the PS4 along with the real games and see how it turns out. I'll probably be a day behind or so as I'm going to use the real lineups. I have a cool excel spreadsheet I found online that I'll track everything on. I'm not sure I can attach a file on here or not, but if anyone wants it down the road, I can email it to them. If I fall behind and anyone wants to volunteer to play some games, let me know.

Group A, Game 1: Brazil 4, Croatia 2

Brazil rallies from a 2-1 deficit as Jo tallies twice after entering the game for an injured Fred.

Cameroon hangs on late after leading 2-0.

One other item of note. I'm flipping a coin to use teams, but will make sure I use each team at least once in the group stage.

Spain dominates.

Chile has a ton of chances, but only manages to get one past the Aussie goalie.

Colombia is way too much for Greece.

Group D, Game 6: Uruguay 1, Costa Rica 1

Goalts:
E. Cavani, Uruguay
J. Campbell, Costa Rica

The first draw of the tournament. Costa Rica got an early goal and should have led 2-0 if it wasn't for a missed PK by Campbell. Uruguay tied it up with about 20 to play and dominated the 2nd half, but just couldn't get the go ahead goal.

Group D, Game 7: England 0, Italy 1

Goals:
A. Barzagli, Italy

A defensive struggle turns on a red card on Jordan Henderson. Italy scores early in the second and then defends in classic Italian style to preserve the win and 3 points.

Group C, Game 8: Ivory Coast 3, Japan 2

Goals:
Y. Toure, Ivory Coast
W. Bony, Ivory Coast
A. Boka, Ivory Coast
Y. Okubo, Japan
S. Kagawa, Japan

Ivory Coast tallies 3 times in the first 50 minutes and then hangs on for dear life and Japan makes it very interestin scoring twice in the last 15 minutes of the game to almost salvage the tie.

Much like in the real game, Switzerland scores in stoppage time, this time to earn the tie.

France had more trouble early than they should have, but 2 red cards by Honduras opened thing up a bit and France cruised, 3-1.

Argentina cruises as B-H really only had one legit chance at scoring.
