Anyone have the rubber peeling on theirs? My left stick is ripping and I spoke to Sony and they said they would replace it, I just have to pay the shipping to their service center. Supposedly what I get back will not have the same problem, we'll see if that is actually true.

There are videos out there of this being a common occurrence. I think it was with the launch edition ones and good to see they are replacing.

Downing, did they tell you how much shipping is?
Curious if they will charge you like $40 for shipping or more like $12.

They just said that I would have to pay for shipping it to them and they would pay to ship it back to me. I assume I can choose any method of shipping to them to keep the cost down but the longer it takes to get to them, the longer I'm without a controller.

What were you doing with them?

Or did you get yours prior to launch and use it with the PS3 for a month or whatever it was?

Just normal play out of them and got them on release day, didn't get them early.
