I'm really starting to understand how bad my offense has been since I joined the league... I've won only 3.5 Bernie's since joining the league.

I can't keep up due to all the relocations and then the Dub Era if you can call it that.

Its actually very well done by Bernie, I didnt mean this to sound like I thought we were getting ripped off. We've normally been more pitching centric anyhow :)

Not pissing on your parade here... but I was a bit shocked last week when I looked at some team all time pitching stats... PO was rarely in the rankings.

We were built for playoff series.

plus, we were either really good or very very bad throughout the years. put em together and you get average overall

I was thinking that it had to relate to the strength of your #4 / #5 and bullpen. For as great as the big 3 were, the rest was probably being carried.

All I remember is some dude named Mark Reynolds or something with a 23 overall coming in and pitching a gem against me in the ALCS a few season ago. I was up either 2-1 or it was 2-2 and I had my ace on the mound.

The details are fuzzy, but I just remember knowing I had a huge edge in the pitching matchup, and your dude just crushed me. It was one of the 2 seasons i went up 2-1 only to lose 3 straight in the ALCS. :x

Yep, sounds right. He's a bit behind Jason Stillwell, but firmly at #2 on my least liked SPs.

he was probably more like a 45-50 overall....but pretty average. He shut out the LOLcats in a pivotal WS game 4 one time to set up the big 3 to close out the series

he was clutch!

Wu earns his 7th trophy despite playing only 74 games. 106 hits in 74 games gets him the nod over Bryant. I usually use 100 games as a minimum unless something extraordinary. Wayne Washington becoming a staple at AL 1B, garnering some traction for the 20th Anniversary Team to be announced after the '29 season. 5th straight season the AL has averaged less than 100 RBI. The NL saw 7 first-time winners led by Lawrence LeBlanc's first appearance and Steve Martin's.

The year of Hercules! Hernandez comes out of nowhere to smash the HR and RBI records.

His ridiculous season last year may go down as one of the most bizarre seasons ever. Don't get me wrong, he's showing some respectable power this year, but last year was absolutely nuts. I don't remember wtf I did with my lineup last year, but something had to be clicking to get those numbers. I haven't been able to come close to duplicating them this season.
