Super Bowl Predictions

I have an awful lot of money riding on this game, so I hope I am right.

Seattle 27
Denver 21

I feel that Seattle is the better team. I do not believe the Broncos will be able to run the ball and, when you give an NFL team only one thing to stop, they will stop it; in this case, Manning. Conversely, I think we will see Seattle come out slinging the ball all over the field and - this is where my entire prediction could come crumbling down - they NEED to prove to Denver early on that they can and will throw. Otherwise, Denver's likely plan of keying entirely on Lynch will undo the Seahawks.

All in all, this is a fascinating Super Bowl. It all comes down to Denver's unappreciated defense vs. Seattle's offense.

Also, I have Broncos 6 and Seahawks 2 in my large Super Bowl pool. Could I possibly have gotten worse numbers? Ugh.

7-0 and 7-4 are wonderful numbers. Anything within three as (something like) 15% of NFL games end within three points.

"To be specific, the margin of victory is three 15.9% of the time, and seven 9.5%."

Usually they are random, Make squares numbered 0-9 across and down. 1 for each team, Then usually cards are used to get the numbers, All random locations once the squares are filled.

I'm taking Denver 31-20.

At first I really didn't know which way to go, but after going back and forth, I think I'm pulling for Denver. I see Peyton retiring if he wins this game. After all the surgeries, then coming back and having a season like this, and winning the MVP. Top it off with another Super Bowl, what better way to end your career. He goes out just like Elway did. Then he could go make a career hosting Saturday Night Live once a month.

Seattle 30

Denver 24

Took SEA ML and over 47.

Seattle defense and the running combo of Lynch and Wilson will be to much. Peyton will throw a pick 6 that will ultimately decide this game.

if Denver wins - I played football with a superbowl champ
if Seattle wins - 7-9 Rams played in officially the toughest division

with that said, I have no rootin interest for either side and hope its a great game. but I will say defense wins championships so.

Peyton didn't set the world on fire in either of his other Super Bowl appearances, and I don't think tonight will be any different. 24-13 Seattle.
