Here is the master thread for this season. Below is the information to get your games up to date.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are 2 ways to get your games to the correct file.

Option A - (Updating from a Good File)
Just import the new file. Do a quick export to test it. If it doesn't work, go to Option B.
If you do not see all of the new images, view the "How to Get Images" section.

Option B - (Corrupted Original File or Fresh Install)
1.) Delete any old files. They will be located in user/documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP 13/Saved_Games folder. They will have a .lg extension.
2.) Create a folder in the Saved_Games folder called NDL.lg
3.) Download the following folder: http://ndlootp.com/game/lgfile/NDL.tar.gz
4.) Extract the NDL.tar.gz file into the NDL.lg folder. (you may need a program such as WinZip/WinRaR to do this.)
5.) Look in the NDL.lg folder, if there is a settings folder, continue to step 6. If not, create a folder called: settings
6.) Download the GM Account Access file: http://ndlootp.com/game/Other_Data/accountsdata_gms.dat
7.) Place the accountsdata_gms.dat file into the settings folder. (Be sure this is named properly)
8.) Open OOTP, select the NDL league. Try to export via FTP.

How to Get Images - (3 types available)

JERSEYS:
1.) Delete your current jerseys folder, located at user/documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP 13/Saved_Games folder/NDL.lg/jerseys
2.) Download the updated jerseys folder: http://ndlootp.com/game/Other_Data/jerseys.zip
3.) Extract the file to the location of the jerseys folder that you just deleted.

BALL CAPS:
1.) Delete your current ballcaps folder, located at user/documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP 13/Saved_Games folder/NDL.lg/ballcaps
2.) Download the updated ballcaps folder: http://ndlootp.com/game/Other_Data/ballcaps.zip
3.) Extract the file to the location of the ballcaps folder that you just deleted.

ALL OTHER IMAGES:
1.) Delete everything in your current images folder, located at user/documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP 13/Saved_Games folder/NDL.lg/news/html/images
2.) Download the updated images folder information: http://ndlootp.com/game/Other_Data/images.zip
3.) Extract the files directly into the images folder that you just cleared out. Ensure that the folder structure is setup as /news/html/images/(all subfolders like league logos, person pictures and team logos)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you'd like to cleanup your file, which means that you will lose box scores, recaps and messages, then here as a batch file that you can download and place directly into your NDL.lg folder. Once it is in there, you just click the file and let it run for a few minutes. It does take some time. This may/may not help with speed. (note: only the specific file goes directly into the NDL.lg folder. Don't use a sub folder)

File up. Email sent.

Next sim is Wednesday 8am.

- Awards voting will go up sometime tomorrow.
- This is a full file w/images, for the new guys and anyone that needs to reinstall.
- This file has been cleaned. If you have messages prior to 11/7, they will be blank. Don't be an idiot and post "I have blank messages!"
- We will be doing very fast off-season sims again. I will make sure that sims are at least 12hrs apart once we get going. I won't be able to outline a full schedule until we are in spring training. Up until that point, I'll update short schedules in this thread.
- We have 3 new teams in the league this season:
***South Dakota Blizzard
***Las Vegas Posse
***Toronto Aces
- No realignment this season. No other off-season moves. I may look at that for next season, tba.

I think I learned a valuable lesson last season. With Ando and Morse, I took on roughly $45mil worth of salary(not literally, but that was their payouts for the entire season), but with getting cash in the deals, I only actually paid $7mil total for both players for the entirety of the season.

What I never factored in, that $45mil(again, it was less than that) still counted towards salary paid out to players.

What does that mean? That helped contribute to me being so far and beyond the payroll tax threshold, that I paid $41mil in luxury taxes.

Downloaded the new files and everything works great. I'm loving my new colours and logo.

The Toronto Aces have made all arbitration decisions and are ready to roll!

It was terrible, especially considering ANdo was a backup going into the playoffs.

I only played 10 playoff games, maybe 5 of em home, so I doubt I made very much.

The one aspect of this game that I do not understand at all is the finances. I have searched it on the ootp forums and have never found an idiot proof explanation of how it works and what I should do to be more financially stable in my organization

This is what I need to focus on next is financials.

And Reign, thank you for getting this going.
I will work with Randall to get him up and going.

Most definitely, you tell me when (preferably two times) and I will try to move my shit around to fit you in.

Gamblers looking to shake things up despite two straight playoff seasons.

Three new starters in the infield (including two first round draft picks) and several new faces in the bullpen including a player I'd projected to be a starter this year or next that suddenly had an "Expected Role: Closer" in his profile. We'll see if he fits the bill.

3 of my 4 OFs are heading to FA. Rocha says goodbye after spending his entire ML Career in Washington. He now just a platoon player against righties but he destroys them after his great splits this last year.

I had the weakest OF among playoff teams (probably) last year and its only getting worse.

I'm going after Ogie and trolling Rule 5.

Fair warning... I'll be MUCH less forgiving with DFAs in the future.

Putting guys on Waivers that are taking a roster spot that you can't get rid of, they refuse to be demoted so you continually Waive them and let them sit on DFA until you have to pick them up and then do it all over again.

I got that part, but what is the MUCH less forgiving part. How do you take advantage of it. Mainly I want to make sure I am not doing something that gets looked down upon.
