GoTW - Week 3

Post by Wasted Memory »

Early previews as I'm heading out of town and won't be able to do this Friday or Saturday.

Coach iRoccafella: 0-0 (0-0) vs. Coach RanDawg: 1-0 (1-0)

Coach RanDawg wanted an opportunity to bust the BCS bubble this season and he begins that journey now. Houston has played one game to date which will give iRoc some game tape to view while RanDawg will have to rely on previous knowledge of the Cardinal game plan. For Houston, they're going to need to look on improving in either the defensive or offensive category if they want to take the win over Stanford. Playing against a team like the Cardinal will be nothing like the Owls. This is no knock on Coach kelly or Temple, but the type of athletes that iRoc has at his disposal will be much tougher to stop. Look for Stanford to force a very tough, physical game while controlling the clock. If Houston doesn't take advantage of their possessions each and every time it could be in for some disappointment.

AAC Notables

Image Coach nole4real: 0-0 (0-0) vs. Image Coach bearass: 0-0 (0-0)
Tough match up for the Bulls here as they travel to Waco and face 2nd year head man bearass. The Baylor Bears were a red hot team last season and will look to continue that run this season. There will be no running of the Bulls only running over the Bulls.

Image Coach SuddenBlues: 0-0 (0-0) vs. Image Coach BIGmike: 1-0 (0-0)
Early season rival match up here in the Bluegrass State. The Cardinals will leave little doubt about who owns the state of Kentucky. Teddy Bridgewater will continue his run for the Heisman with easy but might face low statistical numbers if he ends up getting pulled mid way through the game.

Image Coach Cougnix: 0-1 (0-1) vs. Image Coach oldschoola: 0-0 (0-0)
Coach oldschoola should be returning from his Indian Reservation Honeymoon soon, but will be in for some disappointment as the Cougars look to hit somebody hard after taking an opening season loss last week.

Image Coach Dakshdar: 0-0 (0-0) vs. Image BigStimpin: 0-0 (0-0)
Good match up between two great coaches. The toughest thing about this game the Scarlet Knights should be playing away from home. Pitt will have some good drives, but the overall familiarity and knowledge of Dak should help drive home the win for the AAC.

Image Coach brwnbear: 0-0 (0-0) vs. Image Coach footballkelly31: 0-1 (0-1)
If Temple comes in to this game and establishes the same game plan and attack as they did against Rutgers it should be a no brainer to pick them as the winner. IF, IF, IF....

Image Coach sirloin: 0-0 (0-0) vs. Image Coach Black Rain: 0-0 (0-0)
Most people are usually quick to write off beefy, but if he puts his mind to something him and his squad are more than capable of pulling off upsets. However, in this case the Central Florida Knights should be capable of securing the W in a closer than you would think game.

Image Coach nick 0-1 (0-0) vs. Image Coach driccio21: 0-1 (0-0)
Coach driccio says it's been a while since he's played and will be rusty. Well, this is the perfect remedy for that rust. After playing against SDSU no one will believe he was ever rusty to begin with.
