I do believe EA has finally found a way to get me to spend money on Madden for the first time in almost 10 years.

I hope this includes the PS3 variant. If it does it's over. Even if it doesn't, the iPad will get some legit use on Sundays.

I received an email about this saying it was an Amazon exclusive:

Exclusive to Amazon.com, the Madden NFL 25 Anniversary Edition delivers the ultimate NFL experience, including:

Exclusive Offers for DIRECTV and NFL SUNDAY TICKET - Each Anniversary Edition includes a special code, giving you the opportunity to unlock a special 2013 regular season (17 weeks) trial of NFL SUNDAY TICKET on computer, tablet, and mobile devices, plus a DIRECTV promo code for $10 off per month for your first year of service.

So...it's not available through DirecTV for your actual TV? Or is this just the Amazon version?

I'm also a little cautious about the fact it states you can have an opportunity to unlock a special for SUNDAY TICKET.

So I can plop down $100 and get madden(which I will never play) and be able to watch on my iPad or Mac and AirPlay to my tv for the nfl season?

Tough decision.

Yes.

http://espn.go.com/blog/playbook/tech/p ... day-ticket

This article explains it too...
And says:
If you don’t have DirecTV, you have two options: Sign up for DirecTV and get $10 off your monthly bill for a year plus Sunday Ticket for free on your mobile devices,
or
access the Sunday Ticket content for free through your computer, tablet or smartphone.

And I was thinking exactly that Corey.

So you buy it, use the code, return it to GameStop and get $35 for it.
So you paid $65 for Sunday ticket mobile, which DirecTV will not allow you to get normally without DirecTV service.

Normally, you have to pay like $300 to watch it through the PS3 only.

Ah damn, so it won't be $60?

I'll stick with the Red zone channel, I think.

The game itself is $100

If you go niddlers way and trade it in and can still access, it's $65ish

my sis just preordered this from amazon. She is giving the game to me and my dad the code for Sunday ticket. I am cool with redzone but he doesn't have nfl network. He is a Vikings fan so he will get to watch every game.

I'm just hoping we can still gameshare split 4 ways. Even 2 ways would be a huge discount, but I'm dreaming big and going for 4!!!

it won't be gameshared. you only get the direct tv if you buy the amazon $100 edition. we've said this before. It's literally a coupon that comes in the game case.

My bad, i was speaking in general with the PS4 gameshare, not about Madden.

Trying to make a quick post, I left some important things out lol.

You also missed the fact that this is Madden that comes out in a couple weeks, August 27th.
This has nothing to do with the PS4.
