2022 - Rookie Draft (DONE)

Posted: Mon Mar 25, 2013 9:28 am
by ReignOnU
Draft Period:
Tuesday 3/26 through Wednesday 4/3.

Draft Open Time:
Every day, 8am EST to 10pm EST

Draft Picks:
You have 8 hours from the posting of the previous pick to make your selection. If you have submitted a list, I will pick from your list as soon as I am available. Be prepared and send in lists, as it is possible that we may have multiple consecutive picks posted at once, from teams that submit their lists. You may submit lists multiple times and update them. I'll keep your information updated in an Excel file, so it can be modified at any time. If you do not submit a list and you exceed the 8 hour time frame, then you will be given the highest overall potential available, based on your scouts ratings. This is a continuous 8 hours, based on our open time, therefore if you are on the clock at 7pm, then you must complete your pick by 1pm the following day (draft is closed 10pm-8am). I reserve the right to drop this 8hr period to a lower number, to speed up the draft as I see fit.

Draft Length:
There is no guarantee how far we go. It's all up to the group's pace.

Injuries:
Any players that suffer injuries from in game 4/20 - 6/20 will be reset

woo Walden!!! Reign change that L to a D and I'll pay $10 mil for it.. Dylan Wadden!!

p.s lookin over the potentials, there are a trillion OFs lol, but it looks like a deeper draft where every 1st round pick should be a talented one.

I will update the main title with who is up and when their deadline is to make the selection. Obviously any pick made today would have a deadline of tomorrow at 4pm. SD pick has been updated.

Would there be any way to update the pool on the game each time you sim? I'm guessing not since there would be no way to "draft" the player since we're not there yet... but it would be helpful if they were gone...

Just remove them from your list as they are drafted. And then save that each Sim.

Well yea, but it makes it easier scanning through the pool when the guys who are gone aren't on there

What are you doing in a draft thread? Pretty sure the last player you drafted was Rojas... ;)

Some damn good pitchers in this draft.

One of the better drafts we have had as of recent memory.

Definitely.

I believe one of the guys drafted so far is basically a reliever, only 2 pitches. :o

As of right now, no lists on hand (Joe has one in, but may be reworking it). I do know that Niddler is prepared for his selection coming up.

We need to post an article on espn.com to let WPS know he's up to draft, then he'll see it immediately!!! :)
