Bored at work, nothing else to do. Looked over this link, but got confused as hell so went to this link instead....still confused as hell

Comparing the two links I see there are some differences and being as I have never really looked that close at these before I just kinda shrugged my shoulders and said F' it.... Be gentle when you tear into my predictions

So....8 out of 35 picked exactly correct. 33/70 picked correct overall. Ehhh

If I take Notre Dame to the Belk Bowl then Im getting fired for sure!

Yeah, Notre Dame was a hard one to figure out for me. I believe I finally just went with what the second link suggested.

I did want to point out, the bowl you have Pitt in, says it is for the Big East #4 team...
New Era Pinstripe - Pitt vs. Fresno

I believe that I finished 2nd since record is tied with Cincy and I beat him head to head and we are both 5-2 in the Conference.
But even if you put me 3rd...

Champs Sports or Belk bowl should be it.
In both of your links, the New Era Pinstripe Bowl says it is for the Big East #4 team which would be Rutgers.


Personally, I don't care what bowl game I make it to, just my observation.

I once heard ACC #4 doesnt necessarily mean the 4th team in the standings but the fourth selection of a team from that conference. Is that right?

I'm thinking it is that way remembering back to S22. That season I won CUSA but went to the Vegas Bowl which at the time was CUSA No. 2. East Carolina went to the Liberty Bowl slotted for CUSA No. 1.

Going by the 2nd link - #4 The Hyundai Sun Bowl receives the ACC Championship Game runner up or the fourth choice of ACC teams. Didn't really specify if it was in fact #4 in standings. I read over these things a few times and really had a lot of difficulty interpreting what they were saying.

Also, I assumed the standings here were all correct. Since it showed Cincy above Pitt I just assumed they owned the tie breaker instead of actually looking it up. Sorry.

Again though, I just did this for fun.

Interesting, because I thought the Chik-fil-a bowl was always the ACC #2 and Orange Bowl was either ACC #1 or, if the ACC #1 was playing for the national Championship, the Orange Bowl would take the next best BCS worthy team. This is why there should be a playoff series

I know its high on the must see list of bowl games but Poinsetta bowl tie in is WAC-MWC, although BYU did secure a bid to the same bowl last year (in real life)....

I looked here and saw that it says BYU is tied in for 2012 if Bowl Eligibile - Poinsetta Bowl

It may be. Since VT will be in the Championship game I put FSU in the Orange Bowl. Should be high in the BCS standings anyway. That made the next selection for the Chick-Fil-A bowl your Wake Forest team going by how I did it.

Okay, someone else come out with better predictions. I'll stick to what I know from now on...
