I've been holding out with my overdue 4 for this announcement. I've never been a preorder type guy, but I'm gonna do it for this one

I'm not going to pre-order but I am going to get one. I skipped on the 4s so I could get this one with my upgrade.

Definitely recommend the pre-order. As early in the morning or process you can.

Did that for the 4 and got it 2 days early before release shipped straight to my job. Did that for the 4S for the wife, same thing 2 days early shipped.

Im interested to check it out and see this new size and screen

my upgrade isn't eligible until December Almost want to switch back to Sprint now that they have it.

They will probably announce the date you can start pre-ordering tomorrow.

They will probably announce the date you can start pre-ordering tomorrow.

Is this exclusive to sprint? I had heard that it would be... I hope not

Not exclusive to Sprint and like Oracle said, they usually announce when pre-orders begin as well.

That's all I needed to hear. I would have been mad if I waited and couldn't even get it. Usually I'm due right around release time, but I've been eligible since January

It has. Which sucks for docks, chargers, or anything else anyone had. I am assuming they will sell an adapter or something but possibly not.

I believe pre-orders will start either this Friday or on the 21st, but we will know for sure tomorrow.

And yes, the power port did change.

The device will introduce a new 16 or 19-pin power and control connector on its base, dumping the 30-pin connector first introduced with the third-generation iPod in April 2003.
