NBA Live 13 is coming back to take over. Their team play option is so much better then what 2k did, Only reason to own the game

Not gonna be better than having JayZ as the music producer of the game and having the '92 Dream Team and the 2012 Team. No way NBA Live tops that feature, no?

Live gameplay has always been WHACK! 2k even back on their ncaa games has always been better

Lol, Like i said i played NBA for 1 thing only and its the 5 on 5 team play. The rest is crap. 2k12 was garbage. And who cares about Jay Z doing a soundtrack ?? Custom soundtrack sounds better

Live did have a better 5 on 5 team play feature.. then 2k.. but in gameplay.. the 2 are not even close.. 2k is way better.. and has been way better for years, as live has not been on top since the ps2 days.

Anyone else excited? Hoping I can afford it tomorrow, otherwise I'll have it Thursday. Looking forward to seeing what the NDL fam thinks of it. Most people seem to like it so far despite some issues with rebounding.

So is the game any good? I was going to pick it up yesterday but decided to wait as I just dont have time to try and get into it. May wait for it to drop in price. Still was interested in opinions of the game.

its similar to the other ones with improvements.

gameplay is incredible as it always is and there are a ton of individualized features (even more so than the previous years). there were some tweaks about how guys move... so a big dude trying to D up a guard on the perimiter will be clumsy and tough to move compared to an agile smaller guy. lots of turnovers if you try to dribble in traffic or quick pass up the court. the plays run really well.

i havent done much messing around with online leagues or anything like that so i can't comment on anything but gameplay

Man, I wanna get it now, but I'm trying to hold out until the ndl season is over so I have 1 extra game to trade in.

They did away with "online leagues"

It's the assocation mode online now.

There was an issue last season that kept us from having a league, I can't remember what it was though

2 pretty cool trailer/ montage videos by 2k13 owner , if you don't like hip hop.. turn volume low.. but other wise nice 2k13 trailers made by someone who owns the game.

i mean, its pretty simple.

if you like basketball, they did it well. you'll love the game.

if you don't like basketball or you didn't like the game in the past you probably won't like it.

i play 150 or so online games vs randoms every year in 2k so i like it as long as gameplay is good and the connections are good. both are great to me.

I enjoyed last years game. I hated it at first but once I got the hang of it and played it alittle more it was solid. I have been ruined by this league as playing the computer just does not do it for me any more (you bastards). I'll grab it but wait for teh price drop, hopefully that comes right after the end of the NDL season.
