I have the first fucking pick...sigh...

Do I go with a RB or do I go QB?

We are a pretty standard league as far as points. No decimal points, just the basic points for yards, TD's, etc. No funky points.

I am leaning toward Rodgers as the first pick. What do you all think?

I have first pick in a 12 team league, im thinking Rodgers as well, since QB play is very consistant...

if you don't have a top tier QB i think it's gonna be really hard to win, even in a standard scoring league

I have changed my mind, i think you have to go with RB since after the top 3 it is a crap shoot

they get hurt too much, obviously we're on different sides of the fantasy spectrum so maybe agreeing to disagree would make sense. Here's my 16-team draft:

QB: Cam (Palmer)
RB: Sproles, McGahee (Gerhart, Spiller, Jacobs)
WR: Bowe, Decker, (Amendola)
TE: Graham (Fleener)
K: Bryant
D: Arizona

odd things about the league are: W/T position, .3 ppr, .1 pp rush, pass TD 4, rush/rec TD 5, bonuses too (stupid and i tried to talk the commish out of them but couldn't)

TE - Gresham
DEF - Falcons
K - Rackers

I usually do not go with a RB in the first round and I completely agree it is more of a crap shoot, but I do think this year there are only 3 "Garentee" RBs...

i do not like Palmer, but he's great if his team's getting blown out and Atlanta could do that to Oakland at home when Camputer has his bye.

What a horrible set of backs lol. Greene?? What has new york shown that he will have a good year?

only a few good backs so i let them fall if they weren't a guarantee. Think WRs are a better way to attack and they get hurt less...

But yeah they're awful. Greene will get 100% of the goalline carries (if they have any) unless Tebow gets the job and you can't say that about many teams. AD is made of glass and I am speculating that the late knee injury isn't healed. Redman is starting for a while, over another candidate for a rough bounceback after a late ACL tear, and Leshoure sounds like the guy with Best possibly retiring and Kevin Smith always injured

QBs? People overdraft Newton. you pay 2nd-3rd round price for hopefully a repeated season. meanwhile, as the season progressed Newton got much worse and theres 0% chance he gets as many rushing TDs as he did last yr. but ya.

Im not high on newton this year. I think Matt Ryan will have a much better year

12 team league mostly standard with bonuses for 100, 150, 200+ rushers and Wrs. bonus for Qbs 300, 350, 400.

Im goign to have a harsd time with the flex this year. Seems like alot of potential to pick hte wrong guy every week.
