yeah so the feeder stuff did not work at all. So we'll just do it the normal way which means it will end up being alot quicker. So we need to make a decision on the start time. I realize alot of you said you dont care but i also know i'ts jumped around some. With that being said no more votes or other BS. We're going to start in the year 2000 because it's a nice round number and at close to 1-1/2 months per season itll give us about a year to modern day. So i'll get cracking on the file and now with the hard stuff not being needed I should have it done by saturday MAYBE even sooner than that. As soon as it's done i'll put it out so we can all have some time to look at it and we'll sim a few days after.

I feel like there are 4 year to start thread, 5 how many sims threads, and 2 who is in threads for this league.

You are the head honcho, make a decision and lets do this!!

No more votes or polls or public debates? What has this league come to? By the way, just to verify, does that mean that we'll be starting at the beginning of the 2000 season, not after? I know, stupid question, just wanna make sure I don't have my head too far up my ass. Thank you O great one!

He was traded on February 12th, so I don't know how Matt will work that out.

he wasn't traded till Feb 12th and the file will be Feb 1st. so unless you decide to recreate history you'll have him

I definitely considered it. Talk about LOADED! And I'm not thrilled about being in the NL (without the DH), when it comes to OOTP. In real life, I'm all about letting the pitcher bat and making the manager use his brain, on when to pinch-hit. But with this game, it's up to OOTP when the pinch hitter will come....wish I had more control over that, so I've always been in leagues where it's a DH league. I was split between the Royals and the Cubs. I really like the rebuilding possibilities of the Royals, but their payroll is shit low, let alone they don't have anything in their minor league system. At least with the Cubs I have a considerably higher payroll, some serious potential in the farm system, fans that will always be there for me...and I can beat the hell out of Shel & his Cardinals, season after season.
