Wasted's Dynasty - Week 9

Post by The_Niddler »

Wasted is putting together a slow moving dynasty.
By slow moving, I mean 1-2 advances per week.

We have:
1) Wasted - Miami (FL) (B+) - ACC
2) Niddler - Baylor (B) - Big XII
3) Whittness - Colorado (B-) - Pac 12
4) xLiQx - Houston (B) C-USA
5) buckeye - NC State (B+) - ACC
6) Crowes - Washington St. (C+) - Pac 12
7) THAB33T - Tennessee (B+) SEC
8) Downing11 - UMass (D) - MAC
9) SuddenBlues - Rutgers (B) - Big East
10) phreakk - UCF (B) - C-USA
11) LetsGoPeay - New Mexico (D) - Mountain West
12) swellvermin - Texas Tech (B) - Big XII

We are full, but in case anyone wants to switch teams, we have openings in:
Big10 is wide open, no one in them.
Big East has 1 opening.
FBS Independents are open, no one in them.
MAC has 1 opening in the West division.
Mountain West has 1 opening.
SEC has 1 opening in the West division.
Sun Belt is wide open, no on in them.
WAC is wide open, no one in them.

ACC is all set.
C-USA is all set.
Pac 12 is all set.
Big XII is all set.

We are trying to have 2 human controlled teams per Conference Max and we are trying to have people in opposite divisions within the conference.
That way we are not fighting within our division to make it to the conference championship.

Wasted Memory wrote:I'll set this up when I get home this afternoon and get the invites sent out. If it's okay with everyone, I'm thinking no teams in the Top 25?

SETUP

NO TOP 25 TEAMS
ALL AMERICAN
ALL AMERICAN RECRUITING LEVEL
DEFAULT SLIDERS
ADVANCE TWICE A WEEK MAX (How is Monday Morning & Friday Morning?)
ONE OR TWO USER GAMES

May accept a contract to a Top 25 team if offered after your initial contract/team. Just in case it comes up.

I'd like to run this pretty relaxed. If someone has something come up and can't get their game in we can easily postpone the advance date. Just make sure and post or let me know before hand.

I'm in a couple that are moving a little faster than what I would like right now. If there's enough people wanting a slower moving dynasty I'd be willing to throw one together and have a two advances per week speed.

Season 1 Madden - Seattle Seahawks 12-4 NFC Champoinship game (lost)
Season 27 NCAA - Texas Longhorns 9-4 (Alamo Bowl champs vs USC)

That'll give us six coaches right there. I can go ahead and get it set up, I'm sure we'll pick up a couple more guys in the next day or two.

Any suggestions or idea's on team's. Personally, I'd like to try and have only one team per division, max of two per conference. I'm also for knocking out Top 10/A- and higher teams but don't really care one way or the other there I guess. Of course that's easy to do when the Gators are a B+ and not in the top 10.... :?

But whatever everyone wants to do, 3*'s or below, B's or below, C's, doesn't matter.

Seeing the team I play with now, I would be happier with any team higher than a D

I am interested as well. I just dont know who I want. If there is room count me in since only 2 games a week is nice and just up my alley right now!

Edit: I am thinking about Rutgers or Washington. Leaning towards Washington. Let me know if anyone wants either conference and I will take the other conference.

Just let me know.

I like the idea of playing with B+ or lower teams though and keeping the top out of it but I am fine with whatever.

This sound fine to me, but I'd prefer not playing any user games unless they are already on the regular schedule or bowl games. Scheduling is going to be tough for me the next couple of months so I wouldn't want to hold anyone up.

No problem. If anyone else would prefer to not have user games just let me know when you select your team.
