Cool Animations

so far i've seen 2 that have stood out.
1 -- my hb ran up the middle around the 6 yard line got hit and tackled but rolled the defender at the 3 and rolled into the endzone for a TD.
2 -- i threw an in route very high, my wr went up to get it and got crushed by the safety in mid air but came down stumbling and ended up landing on his feet. typically the contact would have automatically been a tackle in the past.
other than that, alot of cool stumbling and regaining balance and tip toeing around the sidelines. jukes take a second to figure out and execute but can also stop guys in their tracks which looks pretty cool when done properly

Animations are definitely improved this year. I'm liking them.
One thing that sucks tho is the game misses calls. There are times when the receiver is obviously not in bounds and its a catch. Isn't there replay in NCAA?

A lot of cool animations/plays are possible this year.
Earlier I got intercepted after my TE got hit as the ball arrived...it eventually rolled off his back and was snagged by a DB.

That and the sideline grabs are great. Loving this game so far.

ahh, three more i just remembered:
-- saw a clean pick on an option that was pretty sweet... not really new but very smooth
-- saw a delayed hb slip screen get thrown short and it was called a backwards pass
-- saw a safety creep up to the line and kind of leap over the olineman and get into the backfield. almost looked like he put an arm on the olineman and leap frogged over

I like that you can just hammer down the R1 button when running the ball and the RB will throw shoulders and stiff arms. It's nice with a power back.

This. I know they were supposedly in the game last year but I never saw one. I saw three today and they were all diving at different angles which was cool.

Everything we talked about in our game the other night...sick new animations but some obvious blown calls

A heavy rush was coming in for a screen pass...instead of taking time to wind up the QB did a shovel pass as he got hit. I had never seen that before, it was pretty sweet and effective I might add.

I'm seeing some pretty realistic looking drop animations...sigh...

I'm really liking this game. Much less separation in zones and the super jumping linebackers are much more realistic knocking down balls they should and getting beat on throws they should be getting beat on.
I know it's early but defense feels good. Again though very early

Have seen several time when a wr has made a great adjustment to a poor pass, sadly though it appears nothing has been done to make blocking punts or fgs a real part of the game

the adjustments are very cool on catches
also very cool that you can smack a dude, knock the ball loose and then some other guy can come in and grab it off the breakup
they did a heck of a job with this game, imo

I agree, minus the blocking...seems they took a step back this year in that department.
Overall, very enjoyable game to play though.

I'm really liking this version. It seems they didn't add any bullshit and just worked on making the gameplay better. Hell, I think it is the same intro as last year even and I don't care. Now if only they would work on special teams, but maybe next year. How hard could it be to bring back high and low snaps from the long snapper during punts to add blocks. Also to make low trajectory FGs get blocked more often.

They did make punt coverage much better and tougher to return against, IMO.
Kickoff coverage seems to be much harder to return it against too.
