1 game, 1 disconnect


Couple more tries, then I'll starting getting prepared to see you guys in NCAA 14.

All 3 games that I own, NCAA 13(and obviously 12 previously)/NBA2K/Tiger Woods, I disconnect every single time.


Oddly enough, FIFA worked like a charm always lol.

First game against Buckeye and disconnect. I hope it is just the early server issues. I may try to do a system restore incase some virus or something is on the ps3. Not sure how though. And this is the only game I play online so I don't have anything else to check with.

shel when you do an internet test does it say your a nat type 2?

the games been out for 2 days..maybe the server is just being overloaded.

Having been in the disconnect boat last year I'm going to have to say no.

I am 99.9% sure you are dropping packets; lots of them. If you service is not sluggish but disconnects happen across a long period of time, something is wrong.

1. Is it cable, DSL, or fiber optics?
2. Do the disconnections happen when you are directly connected to the modem?
3. If the answer is no, then you have a router issue. It could be a load issue. Try playing without a single other item using the router. Try playing the PS3 on wireless and wired.
4. Run a ping test at pingtest.com
5. Are you neighbors having the same problem and you are on cable?
6. If it is DSL or fiber, does it get worse in wet weather?
7. If the answer to the above are 'no' then you probably have an interior problem. Have your ISP come in redrop the line. NEVER MENTION GAMING!
8. Go to DSLreports.com, find your ISP, and make a forum post.

This is now three years and I feel badly.

good thing Sheltown is dominating ootp. who needs ncaa.

its not the server or the game....i played pengy and Oracle last night. My download in the low 4mbps per sec. my upload in the mid 3mbps per second and disnt disconnect. in fact for the most part it was mighty smooth in both games minus a hiccup or 2.

Basically your ISP is lazy and the answer lies in trendons toruble shooting guide.

Ive played 5 games online and no DISCO so far. However, the freezing playbook and freezing game (navigating menus, offline dynasty) is horrendous. must have happened 10x already. My buddy has NCAA 13 on xbox and hasnt experienced any DISCOS or freezes.

XBOX 360 > PS3

i am enjoying this game a lot and im happy that everyone in the NDL gets to experience it

Shel, what brand router do you have? I'll help you more when i wake up and see your reply.


If you're not connected to a router and still getting these problems.....

ive played 6 lobby scrubs and in one of those games i was booted in the second qtr, and it gave me a loss when i was winning.
