Texas' Juan Arroyo retired. He was one of the better players (three-time all-star) early on but faded lately.

File will be uploaded; please wait for teh email.

Notes

1. There is a possibility that I forgot (or missed) something. There is/was a lot to do; like ... a lot. So, just be patient and post it here.

2. The two most important things you can be doing right now are: offering salary arbitration and voting for the awards.

3. Again, just post anything here and I will get to it. I am at work late tonight and early tomorrow but then I am free for most of Tuesday and Wednesday so we will really get moving then.

4. If any NEW teams need some help retaining a player, let me know.

Looks like my team names were changed but my logos aren't. Also, doesnt seem like I am in control of the team at all. I can not do anything with them. When I click on "manager's home" is tells me I don't have a job.

Assuming I have to have decisions in before the next sim. Should I make my own thread to help this by keeping everything in one place for Trendon and Bear?

I think so. New thread forthcoming for Las Vegas 2018 Offseason.

Because we're that important.

Though, if anyone else is out of town and wants Trendon and Bear to help with decisions, I can change it to "Out of Town 2018 Offseason".

Its sad I have to post this but so everyone doesnt think something is "funny"

I received this email....

"Personal Message from the Owner: Market Size INCREASES
10/29/2017

Gabe.

You have just been informed by the team owner Felipe Flores that latest research has shown that the market size for the Chicago LOLCats has increased to "Above Avg."
Thats very good news, keep up the good work!"

Look at "Current financial overview" under your financial report.

Ok, so I have a budget of 40 m (which isn't even CLOSE to anybody else's) and I have a projected loss of 95 million dollars.

I'm guessing something isn't right here? My owner sucks.

Do we or do we not have compensation now?

My screen is still suggesting that we do have compensation on.

There will be another sim (advancing just one day) tonight at around 11PM to correct any mistakes and then one tomorrow at around 1PM. Then we will have a set schedule.

Can you import any changes we may have made up until then?

Also, anyone have an excess of starting pitching (4th or 5th starter) they want to trade for draft picks, let me know.

How does it work in terms of me getting a farm system?

Do I just sign a hundred dudes to minor league deals? Or will I be appointed guys?

Not sure if you remember this or not, but you don't necessarily have to have a full minor league system. The game will play ghost players for you and take care of filling the rosters. I spent way to much time caring about this and brought in a ton of 26-29 yr old guys that won't be back this season. It was a waste of my time.
