It just goes to show us, that even the cleaniest programs fall victim to horrible secrets. Its sad.

Pat never ceases to create unintentional double-meaning threads. God bless him

As for the main topic....people should hang for this. Jay Bilas nailed it on the head--it's amazing how everyone but the university president will take the fall for this. As he put it, "was his phone broken?"

Have you seen what Jerry Sandusky’s autobiography is called?

Make sure you read the reviews at the bottom.

But from an athletics standpoint, does this really have anything to do with the Penn State program? Wasn't this basically an employee (though some of this may have allegedly happened when he was no longer employed at Penn State) doing illegal things when he was not a school representative, and the biggest issue now is the management (AD) covering it up? Unless I missed something, this doesn't involve students, someone acting on behalf of Penn State, or Paterno.

This is a sad story, but I don't think the reflection on Penn State is as negative as if we were talking about it involving Penn State athletes or if it were covered up by more than the AD (and the AD is basically a school politician, so while it is sad it doesn't surprise me).

I don't think this will stick to Paterno, his legacy, or the legacy of the PSU football program at all.

It may not affect athletics much, but it will definitely be awkward when giving recruits a tour and you reach the showers....

None. Pretty sure every school gives a tour of their athletic facilities...including showers....
