I know for a lot of us this is another season, another opportunity to move back up or to go for the crown. For others its new or just coming along. So with the draft hours away and many labs being ran, what is your deciding factor? i know some may choose their team for many different reasons i.e. win goals, conference, chances at a winning season, or team they've always wanted or just to try etc. My question to my fellow NDLers is this. What's your factor/factor's in deciding your pick in the draft?

Mine is simple. Solid QB. Decent receiver core and the shittiest defense in the conference. Should be another solid 7-5 / 8-4 kind of year.

I've never looked at any team's completely roster on this game, not even LSU's, true story.

Getting my team. That's all I want.

I definitely haven't checked out teams like I used to.

- Other coaches in the conference
- QB / WRs... as I'm on a mission this season.
- A winnable situation that can keep me in the top 20 or so of the draft for next season.

How you get your connection back running?

Finally had time for the cable company to come out after cancelling on them 2 weeks ago.

Guy looked at wired and wireless, was laggy as usual. Guy did some stuff with the modem/router with that neat little gadget he had lol, and also on the internet.


It's "fixed", but not wireless. I can only go wired. Whatever works. We'll see how long that lasts.

and if I don't get my team, I guess I'd have to say the lines. Dline and Oline are key in this game.

Whats shitty is that I too thought I was going to be booted but managed to keep them by .04 points. Also because Tulsa is a rival in the game, i have to play them even though they are not rivals in real life. Then add my lifetime contract with Doc and Kendall and I am out of OOC games.

Plus you want to play me cause you beat me everytime.

LoL, you act like it's a 35-0 beat down... I've just been on the good side of the lucky coin in most of the games, eeking out 38-35 type victories. I guess I'll have to move a few Big 12 teams back up my board knowing our only other option is just kicking it scrims.

Call me nerdy or whatever but I actually look at the entire roster and check stats in certain attributes from the QB to the kicker. Ask Doc........yes I know I'm weird but its my thing I like to break down so don't judge me

I used to play Luis a lot a few seasons back and I thought about getting those games going again too but he told me about his obligations and kinda sucked just another coach I enjoy playing lol.

I would be happy to but it's not just what you want that matters. What do you look to do with your team? What kind of offense would run or what offense fits your style of play? What kind of defense do you like to run? What system or scheme's fit your playing style on D? Trust me there are a lot of factors that I take into play and consideration. I mean my record of late hasn't shown it and neither has the time I've been able to put in the game but since about mid season I have been able to get back to my old ways of analizing the game and finding even the most unthought of schools to be promising. But that comes with figuring the team out + other factors. I know I just opened the door for some comments but I don't care lol joke on......
