I could have sworn there was a thread about this game. Anyone got it? How is it?? It is completely sold out here. Best Buy, Gamestop, Wal-mart, Target, all out.

I hear it is good and kinda like a Borderlands/Fallout type game.
I want it, but know that have Cnasty Disease and will give up on it after 8 days.

My girlfriend has it and loves it. Think I might get it on Xbox just so I can play with her.

For good reason. I watched the other half play it for 1-2 hours Monday and Tuesday. Picked it up with R3 and Disgaea 4. Game is solid. I can give more insight after class.I hate scary games, but will love this one.

Got to sit through and play for a solid 2-hour session.
- Story seems ok so far. Purpose is there, just want to see how far it may expand before I judge it. Still early on.
- Like that there are side quests. Adds some replay value for down the road.
- The 2-4 player co-op is a very nice bonus. That alone makes the game worth $60 as it will be endless fun.
- Like that the weapons get damaged and break. Had a nice instance of being swarmed and bashing heads in with a crowbar...then it broke and all I had were fists. Led to a quick death lol.
- Melee seems a little loose, but it gets comfortable and becomes a non-issue (we'll see when guns come up later)
- From what I've seen from watching, locations are varied. Hallways, open fields, jungle/rainforest, stariwells. Will help keep from getting boring in the later stages.
- There are definitely some moments where you have to plan a COA. Brute force can work, but I've seen a few instances of just being overwhelmed for a death
- Speaking of death, when you die, I belive you lose half your money and respawn not far from where you went down. Damage given still remains.
- Scary moments are there. Nice mix of shock value and atmospheric ones. You'll be kept on your toes later on.
I don't even like scary games (I get scared easily), but I couldn't pass this up after seeing it played for a few hours.

Definitely a good thing. The better part is we have our own systems. No bickering over who plays what AND I have someone talking crap in the background of my NDL games.

Haha, same here. My girlfriend bought her own system for my place and I put it in my bedroom with a 42" I replaced in the living room with a 52". She plays on the 42 I play on the 52.

I bought it on Tuesday but since I have been juggling work and school but I have played about an hour or so and I think its pretty cool. Since its a first person game, the noises and everything that is going on make me super paranoid of whats happening outside my peripheral and behind me. The sound is great because things can get a little chaotic and you hear it happening all around you which is scary. Solid so far, can't wait to get further into the game.

I haven't gotten to get back in it yet, but this was probably the biggest thing I noticed. Love how it makes you feel as though you are in the game.
