Anyone d/l it yet? Thoughts?

Yeah it sucked ass NCAA is way better again.The graphics are nice but the overall gameplay and feel is just not there.

The graphics are very nice. That's all I have to say.

Downloaded it. Haven't played it yet.

In my opinion, you guys are not giving it a fair chance.
I agree that I like NCAA more, however, they have really upped the presentation and the graphics.

The tackling system feels the same with the same animations as NCAA.
The running game honestly feels a lot like NCAA. They really made the blockers smarter this year as they seem to pick up their blocks and do a decent job.
The passing game is slightly easier than NCAA. They did make the AI smarter, but may not be quite the same as in NCAA.
They did make the D line rush you quickly though like in NCAA.

The kicking game, they changed the way you kick. It is not using the analog stick anymore to kick. You still use it to aim, but then you use X to start your kicking power meter and then hit x again when you want to stop the power meter and it goes down for accuracy.
You then hit X to stop the meter for accuracy.

It is a little weird at first since I am so used to using the analog stick, so for me, it added a little difficulty in because I am simply not used to using buttons.

It feels a little faster than NCAA, but honestly, not far off.

It is probably the best looking Madden to date.
The players look alot like the real guys and the field looks really good.

you are probably right but madden has disappointed me the last few years. i haven't even bought a ps3 version of madden.

but my boss lost a bet and now owes me Madden 12 so i can go into it without expecting to be disappointed...since it will be free. i just don't think i'll like it.
